To replace your Dometic Duo-Therm 13,500 BTU rooftop unit I recommend the Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner 15,000 Btu - White # FR42PV. This unit comes with an adapter cable which will allow you to plug right in to your existing air distribution box so that you don't have to replace the entire system. It has a built in start capacitor that offers an extra boost to help jump-start the AC when a campsite or generator doesn't provide enough power. The rubber dampeners on the compressor help reduce vibration and noise for a much quieter unit.

Hi Kevin. I have a chance to buy one of these Furrion units and am going to be replacing a duo therm unit also. It is going on a 2006 crossroads toy hauler and has a 15 amp circuit breaker for the a/c. It is 1 year old and the guy said it works great but he was having trouble with it tripping his cirquit breaker every once in a while so he changed it. I have also had that issue every once in a while with my dometic also. Not frequently but every now and then. Would the wiring be good enough for a 20 amp circuit breaker or what would my options be. Also would that furring tint be ok for my toyhauler if I could get the circuit breaker issue worked out
