Replacement Option For Reese Outfitter 4-Bike Rack For 2 Inch Hitch
Question:
I have an old Reese Outfitter hitch carrier. I need a replacement hitch pin, preferably threaded because the shank of the rack has a hole with threads fabricated into it for anti-rattle. Its used with a 2inch receiver. Will the e98910 work with this old carrier? Also, if it does work with this carrier, do you sell a security lock that can be connected to the end of this hitch pin, or do you sell a threaded anti-rattle version of this hitch pin that comes with a security lock? Thanks.

There is not a replacement hitch pin for the old Reese Outfitter bike rack, and the hitch pin you mentioned won't work with the rack, so if you are missing yours, or the hitch pin is damaged to the point that you can't use it with the Outfitter then you would need a replacement rack. The good news is there is a similar, cost-friendly option for you:
- Swagman 4 Bike Rack for 2" Hitches # S64940.
The # S64940 4-bike rack is easy to use, with simple rotating cradles. It also comes with an anti-rattle hitch pin, but if you'd like you can add a lock to it, the Threaded Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin Lock # S64027.
