Recommended Backup Camera For 2013 Chevy Silverado That Has Tailgate Frequently Removed

Question:
Hello, I regularly remove my tailgate to haul a cab over truck camper. When doing so I lose my factory tailgate camera. I see the item referenced below and would like to know if anything like this is available to fit my 2013 silverado 2500Hd 4x4 with factory backup camera. Any help would be appreciated. Ref. I have a different option for you, but there is not a back up camera that will be able to plug into the factory back up camera connector on your 2013 Chevrolet Silverado for when your factory tailgate is removed.
Instead your best option is adding an aftermarket camera system such as the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera Installation # HM50002 which gets mounted to the license plate bracket on the back of your truck so it will not get removed with the tailgate that way you have a functional backup camera at all times.
I included a video of the # HM50002 being installed on a 2013 Chevy Silverado for you to take a look at.
