Will the 889-0231 Hitch Pin Fit a 1998 Yakima Supreme Getaway Bike Rack?

Hi everyone, Is this hitch pin compatible with the 1998 Yakima Supreme Getaway? The spring ball has lost its elasticity. Thanks

With the Yakima Supreme Getaway being discontinued in 2000, they could not confirm the fitment of the Replacement Hitch Pin for Yakima Hanging-Style Bike Carriers # 889-0231. However, I did have one measured. It will have a diameter of 3/8 inches, 13/16 inches from the center of the ball to the lanyard hole, and 1 inch from the center of the ball to the start of the red handle. If this matches your current pin, it should work just fine.
