2011 Honda CRV Liftgate and Antenna Clearance for use with Yakima Rocket Box

I have a 2011 Honda CRV and was looking at the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14 to accomodate my 170cm skis but Im concerned about interference with the liftgate and roof-mounted antenna. Is it possible to mount the Rocketbox forward enough to keep its tail-end clear of both I have factory mounting points? BTW, the trailer hitch Hidden Hitch bought from you is working great for my bike rack!

According to Yakima the Rocketbox Pro 14 #Y07192 has internal length storage specifications of maximum of 64 inches, therefore your 170 cm or 68 inch skies will not fit.
Per the manufacturer specifications, the Yakima Rocket Box Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box # Y07193 has an internal storage maximum of 77 inches, which will accommodate your skies. I have included a video showing the details of installation of part #Y07193.
Yakima indicates that the length from the center of the front mounting clamp in the rear most position to the back lip of the box, specifically noted for rear hatch clearance, is 45 inches. If you measure from the center of the fixed point mounting brackets on your vehicle, and it is at least 45 inches to the antenna or lift gate, when opened then the factory Honda provided roof racks will not interfere with your lift gate or antenna. I have included a photo showing these measuring points.
