Replacement Converter Comparable to PD9140A

To replace the discontinued PD9140A 40 amp converter, I recommend going with the very similar 45 amp converter:

- Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger - 12V - 45 Amps # PD9145A

This is a similar unit but with a 610 watt power output and 45 amp output compared to the 540 watt and 40 amp output of the PD9140A. The # PD9145A is 8-1/4" long x 7-1/4" wide x 4-11/16" deep so it is not quite as long or wide, but is a little deeper than the 9-1/8" long x 7-3/8" wide x 3-5/8" deep PD9140A.

Also, for a more efficient charge for your batteries, and to prevent them from overcharging, I do recommend the Charge Wizard if you do not already have one. The correct part for that is the Charge Wizard for Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power PD9100 Series Converters # PD92201.
