Question:
Hi. I bought a 16k husky slider fifth wheel hitch used. It came with brackets that were on a 02 f250 which I believe doesnt fit my truck which is a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd 6foot bed. What kit should I use to install this into my truck?

There are several installation kits that you can use that will accept your Husky 5th wheel trailer hitch. Make sure that the tabs on the hitch where it mounts to the rails are approximately 22 inches apart on center front to back. Left to right the slots will need to be 10 inches apart on center, 20-1/2 inches apart on center, or 29 inches apart on center like in the picture I have included.
The rails we carry all have the same mounting measurements for the 5th wheel hitches. A kit like # HT31415-686 will fit. But the leader in the industry is Reese and they have the Quick-Install kit # RP50064-58. I have included a link to a video showing a typical installation kit for you. I have also linked instructions.
