2013 Jeep Compass and Patriot Transmission Cooler Recommendation
Updated 06/08/2020 | Published 06/04/2020 >
Question:
What transmission cooler do you recommend for 2013 Jeep patriot and 2013 Jeep compass? Both are well known for having problems with their CVT transmissions in automatically shutting down if the transmission gets too hot. We would appreciate any advice on the subject. Thanks!

While normally you can't install transmission coolers on vehicles with CVT transmission I was able to find people online who were able to and the install was the same as standard automatic transmissions. For both your 2013 Jeep Patriot and Compass I'd go with the Derale # D13502 which is a very efficient design and size that would work great for both vehicles.
