Replacement for WFCO WF-9865 Converter Charger
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
I have a WFCO 65amp WF 9865 in my 2012 Denali 5th wheel 30’ 11” trailer. The 12v side isn’t charging my batteries which are 2 6 volt deep cycle golf cart RV style. The information on the WFCO states Input 105-130 vac. 1260w Output 13.6 vdc. 65amp. All wire lugs for the 12v appears to be correct and the 120v plug is plenty long. 70 AMP is 5 AMPS more from the PD9270 but general use breakers are 15A but rated for max of 20A. Same with the DC fuses being rated for 20 max but the dealer used 15. Plenty of space for cooling fan which was not a item on my old converter. The WFCO has 2-40 Amp push in fuses I have not checked to see if they are blown or good. I may be premature on the replacement of my old converter. I have no info as to what the 2-40A push in fuses control.

I can tell you for certain that the replacement for your malfunctioning WFCO WF-9865 converter is the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger # PD9270.
Now, if your old converter is no longer charging your batteries, even if the fuses are blown it may still indicate the converter needs replacing. I took a look at the manual for the WFCO WF-9865 which gives you numerous steps that you'll want to take to see if your converter is blown, and if so, you can definitely replace it with the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger # PD9270.
I have added links to the manual and a video review for you to check out as well.
