Adjusting Small Trailer Pitch Difference with Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System Installed
Question:
I have a 2018 Chev Silverado doublecab with Max tow Package towing a 2018 Coachmen Apex 267RKS with tongue weight 940 lbs tongue wt. 14.8, trailer loaded 6360 lbs. Trailer parallel to the ground hitch ball height 21 1/8 Trailer pitch level: front 21 1/8, rear 21 1/8 Truck ball height 22 with 5 washers A Tow vehicle loaded for trip but still uncoupled from trailer 35 7/8 B Tow vehicle coupled but NO weight distribution 36 4/8 Calculate height halfway between A and B A+B/2= 36 3/16 C Tow vehicle coupled with weight distribution engaged. 36 4/16 Trailer pitch adjustment chart Front 19 7/8, Rear 21 5/8, Difference 1 3/4 Under-Adjusted How do I correct this and get some weight off the rear of the truck and get the trailer more level?

With a height difference of just 1-3/4" between the front and rear on your trailer you're awfully close to where you want to be with the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37120ET installed, as a difference of 1-1/4" or less is seen as acceptable (as long as everything handles okay during travel).
To push your difference within this margin all you should need to do is adjust the hitch ball height. Since the trailer nose is a bit lower than the rear, move the hitch head up 1 hole position on the shank. This should re-distribute weight enough between the truck and trailer to give you a completely level setup.
If you continue to see tilt one way or another please let me know and I will be happy to look into this further.
