Recommended Roof Rack to Clear Moonroof on 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

Question:

Can you please recommend a roof rack for a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS w/ panoramic moonroof and flush rails? Need something that has plenty of clearance and wont scratch the glass and also wont make noise while driving. Thank you.

For your application I highly recommend the Yakima JetStream roof rack. This consists of the 60" # Y00426 JetStream Crossbars, the RigdeLine Towers # Y00145 and Fit Kit # Y06015 since you have flush rails on your 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS.

I really like the Yakima roof racks because they have slight adjustments in the towers which give them the best fit for any vehicle that they fit. If you check out the attached photos that Yakima took of this roof rack on a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe with the panoramic sunroof you can see that there is an ample amount of space between the bottom of the crossbars and the roof itself. Most roof rack manufacturers put a disclaimer out there saying not to operate any sun or moon roof with their rack installed because it will create a lot of wind noise and they cannot guarantee that the rack won't contact the glass.
