Do I need to purchase the fit kit separately or is it included ? Also, does this allow for safe moon roof operation?

To install the Thule roof rack on your 2016 Lexus RX 350 with flush mounted rails you'd need the # TH711200, # TH710601, and # TH186044.
Thule states that you shouldn't open, vent or retract the moon roof with this rack installed. The wind noise would be pretty obnoxious even if you could so you'd want to take the rack off if you had plans to open the roof.
