Hi i have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 with tonneau cover and one of the locks is broken so im gonna replace those locks. But would the Replacement Lock Cylinder for BOLT Toolbox Latch - Codes to Dodge Key fit and work on the tonneau cover?

If you have a Extang EnCore Hard Tonneau Cover part # EX62570 on your 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 then the correct replacement lock is the Replacement OEM BOLT Lock for Extang EnCore Hard Tonneau Cover part # EX6240, not the Replacement Lock Cylinder for BOLT Toolbox Latch part # BL692916. This lock is keyed to the vehicles ignition which is a feature specific to the Extang EnCore.
If you do not have the Extang EnCore Hard Tonneau Cover then please let me know exactly what you have that way I can see if a replacement lock is available.
