Question:
I was wondering if this unit is capable of running off of an external tank. I have multiple units I use for LED light towers that run overnight. I have caps and tanks for the units but it doesn’t seem to be pulling fuel from the external tank. I really love this generator and I hope you can help me figure this out.

Expert Reply:
I contacted A-iPower and the A-iPower 2,000-Watt Portable Inverter Generator part # 289-SUA2000i is not really designed to be used with an external tank so you may need to use some type of pump like part # FT10803 to manually siphon the gas from the external tank to the generator. We do not sell anything automatic that I can recommend.
