Exhaust Rattles After Installing Curt Hitch C11302 On a 2013 Nissan Juke

Question:
Exhaust rattle is awful below 1000 rpm. What is the best way to stop the rattle. Muffler seems pretty smug against hitch and I am hesitant to bend the post to the muffler because it might be a lot of bending.

It sounds like you already know what you need to do but if the exhaust is rattling after installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11302 on your 2013 Nissan Juke there is really only one solution for this and that is to bend the exhaust hangers away from the trailer hitch. I will say however that this usually does not require any extensive bending as an 1/8" is enough to stop the rattle in most cases but I recommend you just do little by little making sure to start the vehicle and check each time that way you don't go too far. The hangers can be bent using any sold piece of metal that you can wedge between the hitch and hanger.
I have attached a help article on this process for you.
