Which Parts Can I Reuse From 2004 Mini Cooper Thule Roof Rack On 2018 Mini Cooper 2 Door

Greetings, I have a 2004 Mini Cooper Roof Rack by Thule with Part Numbers: TH711200,TH480R,TH487,THKIT1366 and the locking mech I am wondering if there are of these parts that are reusable for a 2018 mini cooper 2dr hatchback. Will the new TH710501 fit in the old TH480R or is that an upgrade I will just have to make.

The only piece that you can reuse from your original setup on the 2004 Mini cooper are the Thule WingBar EVO crossbars if the new 2018 Mini Cooper 2 door has flush mount rails. You can use the original bars part # TH711200 with Thule Rapid Podium Foot Pack part # TH460R and fit kit part # THKIT4020. If the new 2018 Mini Cooper does not have flush mount rails, then you would need to go with another brand because Thule does not make a roof rack that fits the naked roof of the 2018 Mini Cooper 2 door.
If the 2018 Mini Cooper 2 door has a naked roof, I recommend Yakima JetStream Bars part # Y00425 with RidgeLine Towers part # Y00145 and fit kit part # Y06009.
