Charging auxiliary battery in Mercedes cla200. Can I use BCDC battery charger to charge that battery

The Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1225D can be used to charge an auxiliary battery in your Mercedes CLA 200. You will simply run a wire like # 10-1-1 sold by the foot through a circuit breaker like # 9510 and then into the BCDC. Then you will run another # 10-1-1 wire from the battery out terminal to the positive terminal on your auxiliary battery. Make sure the negative terminal on the battery and the CTEK is grounded to the frame bare metal on metal and you will be good to go. Of course thicker cables will help with power flow and resist power drop off.

I've attached a photo to assist that shows the alternator connection which is the same as what I described just not as clean and easy and then the ground connection straight to the BCDC with is then grounded to the frame. Either way will work just fine.
