Question:
Hello, Im interested in adding a roof rack to my x1. I have added a picture to hopefully help the process. I am also concerns about wind noise, so the best roof rack option with a fairing add on would be awesome. Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the picture of the roof of your 2017 BMW X1! Looks like you have the flush rails on the roof which we easily have a roof rack fit for.
My favorite option for your vehicle would be the Thule rack part numbers # TH711120, # TH710601 and # TH186007. This rack has flush bars that do not extend past the feet for an OEM look and the bars are aero shaped which means you'd get minimal wind noise and great gas mileage.
Many factory and aftermarket roof racks produce an annoying whistle that can only be quelled by adding a fairing to the system. Not only is a fairing unnecessary with the AeroBlade Edge, but adding one would actually make it louder and less aerodynamic.
