We have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4-door hard top. Seems there is a lot of chatter about if this vehicle can be safely equipped for a kayak rack. Mine is a 11foot Ocean Kayak. Ideally be able to remove the front roof panels and install the rack without drilling, in other words, a removable rack so as to take the back roof off when not toting the boat. Possible?

We have a confirmed fit for your 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4 door hard top. I recommend the Thule roof rack consisting of the Thule Wingbar aero bars # TH711520 and the Thule Rapid Gutter Feet, 5" High (Qty 4) # TH300R. I also recommend using locks # TH450400 to secure the rack to your roof gutters.
For a kayak Carrier, I recommend the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier w/Tie-Downs # Y04073. This carrier will work with a minimum crossbar spread of 24 inches.
