Question:
I have 1975 chevy 250 engine and I would like to know if I mount the cooler between the fan and raidator or the back side of the raidator?

There are essentially 3 places you can potentially install the Derale Series 7000 Tube-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit, # D13103, on your 1975 Chevy. The most efficient place would be in front of the A/C condenser core (if applicable). The second most efficient place would be directly in front of the radiator. The least most efficient place would be behind the radiator. It all comes down to how much space you have available in those locations.
Between the two options you have listed, I would definitely go with mounting it in front of the radiator for more efficiency. I have included a link below to an FAQ article on transmission coolers as well as a video showing a typical installation.
