Draw-Tite Hitch Installation on 2016 Audi Q3

Question:

I recently purchased the 75218 hitch from etrailer.com and tried to install it, but was not able to remove the rear bumper fascia no matter what. Can you advise on any special technique to remove the fascia on a 2016 Audi Q3? Thank you.

The written instructions for the Draw-Tite hitch # 75218, which are linked for you, note that the rear bumper fascia has a total of 10 fasteners that need to be removed. Four of these are screws at the bottom of the fascia and the others are at the two wheel wells.

Have you removed all of these fasteners? If not re-check the wheel wells and bottom of the panel to make certain all fasteners have been found and removed. Once the fascia is off, you will use a 13mm socket to remove the 6 screws that hold the bumper in place.

We have not yet had a local customer bring in their 2016 Q3 for a hitch install so our tech team has not had a chance to do this install to learn any tricks or tips to help you.
