Will a tonneau cover for a 2010 silverado with 58inch bed work on 2006 Silverado with 58inch bed?

There was a generation change for the 2007 Chevy Silverados so the tonneaus for a 2006 would not fit a 2010.
For a 2006 Chevy Silverado with a 5 foot 8 inch bed you would want the Truxedo Truxport part # TX280601 and not the part # TX270601 that you referenced as it is for newer trucks.
