Axle Recommendations for Homemade Motorcycle Trailer
Question:
Im looking for a small axle system so i can build my own trailer to haul with my motorcycle. Im planning on a long road trip from Las Vegas to Alaska and back then to the east coast. I do not believe I will haul very much weight. perhaps 300 to 400 lbs including the weight of the trailer. any suggestions?

I can help you determine which Timbren Axle-less system is the right one for your trailer.
If your total trailer weight including the weight of the motorcycle is under 400lbs. then the Timbren # A4WS440 system will be a good fit for you. These axle-less systems provide a smooth and quiet ride without having to sacrifice any ground clearance.
Depending on what your total trailer weight ends up being you may want to go up to the next highest capacity set rated at 1,200lbs. # A12RS440.
If you also need tires and wheels for your trailer we offer a 4 on 4 bolt pattern Kenda Trailer Tire # AM30120 that will work just great on your trailer. This tire has a capacity of 910lbs per tire giving you a combined maximum capacity of 1,820lbs. inflated at 75 psi and has a speed rating of 65 miles per hour.

He's wanting to build a trailer to pull WITH the motorcycle, not haul the motorcycle. I'm also looking for a small/narrow axle and spring setup to bills a trailer to pull WITH my motorcycle. I only want the overall width of the trailer to be able 48" from outside of tire to outside of tire. Plus keep the whole trailer low to the ground.
