Need a trailer hitch, wiring, accessories to tow a trailer for my 2016 Highlander. Delaer said it does NOT have the factory tow package.

For your 2016 Toyota Highlander I recommend etrailer trailer hitch # e98844. This is a Class III trailer hitch with a 2 inch receiver rated for 6,000 pounds gross trailer weight. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation for you.
For a trailer wiring harness for models that did not come with the factory tow package I recommend # 118449. I have included a link to a video showing and example wiring installation as well.
Since you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
