Location of Trailer Backup Lamp Relays on a 2004 Ford F-150
Question:
One of the reviews mentioned that Ford doesnt install the relays with the 2003 truck with tow package. I have a 2004 Ford with the same two package. If I dont install the relay - does this mean that the camera wont work? If so, where is the relay suppose to be installed?

Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera # HM50002 does need the reverse light circuit to be active on the 7-Way in order to work. On the 2004 Ford F-150 the trailer back-up lamp relay is located in the in-cab fuse panel in location 10. And on the 2004 F-150 Heritage models there are fuse/relay locations in spots 5 and 203.
