The weight of this vehicle is near the Class III, 5000 lb, rating limitations. Some models, depending on options, may well exceed this 5000 lb rating. Be sure to confirm the weight of your individual vehicle before towing. Tow bar adapters are not to be used with vehicles weighing over 5000 lbs.

Designed for full size pickups and SUVs. Heavy duty frames of those vehicles eliminate the need for a crossbar, making installation of the tow bar easier. Removable drawbars make the baseplates virtually invisible when you're not towing the vehicle. MX base plates only work with tow bars that slide into a 2" trailer hitch.

Installation Notes:

This bracket will accommodate any ROADMASTER motorhome-mounted tow bar. However, safety chain anchor brackets for Sterling cables will not fit. To use with Sterling tow bar the Sterling cable anchors must be attached to the frame of the vehicle or welded to the receiver portion of the bracket. IMPORTANT NOTE: this bracket will not accommodate the Guardian rock shield, Tow Defender, Stowaway or the StowMaster and StowMaster All Terrain tow bars.
