Availability of Performance Chip for 2013 Ford Fusion
Question:
Could you recommend me a good devise that can increase my cars performance. I really just want more horsepower, but gas Milagros would be a nice addition. I have a 2.5 liter engine 2013 ford fusion. Also do I need a monitoring devise or is that more of a luxury.

Although none of our vendors offer a performance chip for the 2013 Fusion that will alter the existing tune to increase horsepower or MPG, there are comprehensive gauge displays available.
The available products such as the Bully Dog WatchDog you referenced, part # BY40402 or the Edge # EP83730 are monitors that can observe certain performance parameters, but cannot alter any of those parameters.
Rather than the warning lights offered in many vehicles, the detailed information provided by a monitor can be valuable. The Bully Dog Watch Dog you mentioned can monitor the following parameters (if supported by the vehicle):
Engine load - no load = 0 percent; maximum load capacity = 100 percent
Coolant temperature
Fuel rail pressure (for diesel engines only)
Turbo boost pressure (pressure generated by the turbocharger) - monitored for safety
Engine RPM
Speed (mph or kph)
Ignition timing (gas engines) or injection timing (diesel engines)
Intake temperature - at point where OEM sensor is installed within air intake stream
Mass airflow (grams/second) - amount of air entering air intake stream
Throttle position - idle position = 0 percent; full throttle = 100 percent
Fuel level
Battery voltage
Barometric pressure
Real-time fuel economy
Average fuel economy
Trip fuel economy
Keep in mind that not all parameters are supported by all vehicles.
