Today we have with us a 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan and were going to test fitting a Yakima Round Crossbar Roof Rack system. Well be using Q Clips part number Y00683 as well as Q Clips part number Y00716. Well be using Q Towers part number Y00124 as well as a 58-inch crossbars part number Y00409. We already have our roof rack assembled according to the instructions and now were ready to fit it up on the vehicle. Well place our front crossbar assembly up on top of the roof of the vehicle. To position the front bar correctly, we need to measure 11 inches back from the glass to the leading edge of the Q Tower.

Today we have with us a 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan and were going to be test fitting the Yakima Frontloader roof mounted bike carrier part number Y02103. Weve already got our carrier assembled and now were ready to mount it up on the vehicle. First well place our carrier up on top of our crossbars. Well fit the front head clamp over our front crossbars and use the hand knob to tighten it down. Well slide the clamp in the back over our rear crossbar and use the wing nut and T-bolt to tighten it down. With that, our bike rack is secured to our roof rack and now were ready to prep for our bike.

Today on this 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan well be test fitting the Yakima 44-inch Fairing part number Y07048. To mount the frame to the front crossbar, well fit all four clips around our bar. Well make sure that the Fairing is centered from left to right and is seated properly against the roof. Once weve done that, we can take our carriage bolts and wing nuts and use them to tighten down the outermost clips on either side of the Fairing. Today on our 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan well be test fitting the RockyMounts PitchFork Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number RKY0438. We already have our bike carrier assembled so now were ready to mount it up on the vehicle. Well set the carrier up on top of our crossbars. Today on this 2009 Volkswagen Tiguan we are going to install part number 87600 from Hidden Hitch. This also applies to Draw-Tite part number 75658. The hitch is going to mount up right under this plastic here, so what it is going to require us to do is cut out a section of plastic right here. It is going to be approximately 6 1/ 2 inches wide and from groove to groove. So basically we will be cutting out a simple rectangle, and then our hitch will bolt up to the steel bumper behind the plastic. :28
