The item, tire cradle, is working perfectly as to its design purpose.

Perfect replacement for the tray I lost. Exact replica and good quality. But having to pay $[XX[ for a curved piece of plastic is just kind of silly expensive.1734267

I did not use the product for a direct replacement on a Thule bike rack. I used 2 tire trays to fabricate my own truck bed cradle so I could toss my bike in the back without removing the front wheel or having my receiver hitch occupied with a bike hauler. These tire trays are good quality and worked great.610055

This replacement tray for our Thule Doubletrack hitch rack is a perfect fit and looks identical to the lost original. Also got the new lever (853-3508), barrel nut (853-0446), and carriage bolt (915-066-31). From now on we'll be closing the lever lined up against the rack rails as shown so that it can't accidentally get flipped up and spin itself off in the wind (I'm assuming that's how we lost it, I'd hate to think it was stolen!). My desire was to take a low cost bike rack and add these tire trays to make a solid mountain bike rack. These replacements trays were exactly what I was looking for. I drilled a hole down the center and bolted them to the rack frame using a 1/4” galvanized screw and it came out great.591255

This wheel tray for my Thule T2 bike rack was exactly what I needed to replace the missing one which apparently bounced off on a long trip. I'll know now to check to the nuts & bolts occasionally. 415094

Still works fine. I know now to take a look occasionally at the bolts holding it on to make sure they dont loosen over time. Your company is a great resource, just havent needed anything recently.

Someone was successful in stealing key parts /straps off my rack. I contacted Thule directly for replacement parts, unfortunately the parts I needed were not available for individual sale on their site. I would have to replace the entire assembly. They directed me to etrailer.

This cradle was an exact fit for my rack. Shipping took 2 days, not two weeks which was wonderful. I neglected to buy a needed cradle bolt lock which I will order try and order from etrailer. How I found the part:
Only a few sites on the web had this cradle.

I found the part using Google and searching with the exact description.The link took me to an etrailer selection page where I could narrow the search for the exact model, select and pay so my experience was a good one. This filter page looked different than what you find on the main landing page.

To find parts for this bike rack on the etrailer website was problematic.
Your exact model may not be found, however a similar one will be found.
From there, you should find compatible replacement parts.
Method 1: I did a search using the part number; it was not found.
Method 2: Using the filer, I did find the cradle, but you do have to make your filter selections correctly and you must select Related Parts below all the product photos.
