Works great on my Jeep Cherokee. Beefed it up a little to facilitate 450 + pound cargo weight on upper
The hitch extender adapter arrived a day early and will allow me to use my bike rack while towing my trailer. If I do not bring the bike rack, the extension will allow the tail gate on my 2017 Silverado to be lowered without hitting the trailer tongue jack with the trailer hitched to the truck. Also the rated max towing weight of 3500 lbs with the extender is adequate for my needs, since the gross vehicle weight of my trailer is only 3000 lbs.
I bought one from Harbor Freight first and returned it because the fit was sloppy. This one was about the same. However even worse was that it had been dropped and had multiple chips out of the black finish. I had no idea it would include a hitch pin.

You mentioned that the adapter was still sloppy and I wondered if you meant that it was loose in the receiver. If that is the case, then using an anti-rattle device like part # RM-061 will help. I will also have our Customer Service team reach out to you about the chipped paint. I recommend touching up the extender with a rust resistant paint to help protect against rust.

I have a Ford Flex and needed a hitch receiver adapter solution for my bike rack to mount higher from the ground and away from back hatch. After shopping locally at a few shops without success I went to google and discovered etrailer & desired product within 5 minutes. Three days later I had my double receiver and couldn’t be happier. Got the Dual Receiver hitch quickly and it works great. It serves two purposes. One as advertised to tow a trailer and connect a bike rack or cargo case. Second, while we are camping in our 1978 Vintage lifted Blazer the Dual Receiver, is turned upside down and a RHS2 two step Hitch Stair is put in the lower tube and it lowers the step to a usable normal step to get into the Blazer...both units work perfectly. I hope there is a way to add a picture from a future camping trip to show everyone.
Easy to assemble, solid construction. I connected it to the after market trailer hitch that I bought on etrailer no problem. Since my after market trailer hitch is located low, I had to purchase the Curt Dual Hitch Extender which raised the cargo trailer to avoid a low clearance. Worked well.
I recently purchase a riser for my 2018 Toyota Rav4. I found the product to be of excellent quality and met my expectations. I will be using it both to tow my boat trailer and to attach my cargo carrier or bike rack. When going over a steep driveway my cargo carrier would bottom out. This riser eliminated this problem. Although I opted for the standard shipping. etrailer expedited the shipment at no additional cost to me. etrailer stood behind this product and I would recommend doing business with this company.
Product did what it is supposed to. I would have liked the product to have been able to have a higher weight tolerance. Also, the designers need to look into making a product with a higher second mount. If a trailer is towed, the second mount needs to be much higher to have clearance for bikes, etc.

Product has held up for couple hundred miles. We will be using it for a trip of several hundred more miles.
I ordered this product to be able to tow a car and haul 4 bikes on a bike rack. I used it first on a camping trip 150 miles away. The product works as advertised. I towed a Pontiac Grand Am and caried 4 heavy mountain bikes with no problem. I did have to get longer chains and an extension for the electrical hookup for the tow dolly (the extender adds about 8 inches). I was initially worried about clearence between the bike rack and the car but that turned out not to be a problem at all and could have addded a fifth bike easily. I probably had 150 pounds of bikes plus about 100 to 125 pounds of tounge weight from the Grand Am on a tow dolly. This is close, but still under the limit of the product and had no issues while driving across some very bumpy roads. It was worth every penny not to have to drive a motor home and car seperately. It will certainly pay for itself on longer trips.
Purchased this multi-hitch after being informed a separately ordered product wouldn't be in on time. Customer service Michelle S and Nicky K) were outstanding in helping me cancel my prior order and replacing it with the multi-hitch. They even expedited shipping knowing I needed it for a trip. This is my fifth time purchasing with eTrailer and I've never been disappointed. It’s perfect for towing our sailboat while also carrying our bike rack. This hitch is heavy duty, well designed, and inexpensive. I’d definitely recommend it for boats or trailers. I paid the lowest shipping charge but the company shipped it with a faster carrier and I received it within only a few days.
Exactly what I needed for my motor home. I'm able to carry a receiver hitch bike rack with bikes and still tow my car. Works extremely well. This dual receiver is built very well. One point. For my needs, I also purchased anti-rattle locking bolts to take the "play" out of the hitch connections to stabilize the bike rack. They perform exactly as advertised. The bikes are very stable on the hitch except where the dual receiver mounts to the original receiver. Since the dual receiver is built so well, the "male" end is solid steel and not hollow. Therefore, internal locking bolts cannot be used. An external anti-rattle device is required at this connection and they are harder to find.

First, I know that processing and shipping comments are taboo, but I am truly amazed at how you got this to me so fast.
Our problem was that we both kayak and bike. We have a trailer for the kayaks and a hitch rack for the bikes. We've only been able to take one or the other. Of course the logical idea is to get a dual receiver, but that didn't work because many duals offset the top receiver several inches to the rear, putting the bike rack into the front of the boats. This one, by having "even" openings, is a more excellent choice.
But still not done. The bikes STILL sat too far aft and would STILL hit the boats, not directly, but when turning. So we also purchased an 18" extender for the bottom trailer opening. Now we have plenty enough space to allow for transporting everything! Bring on the recreation!
Overall, this is exactly what I needed. The only reason that it's not Excellent is because the weld seam between the front and read of the hitch is approximately 1/2". This causes the receiver not to line up with the hitch receiver unless you're able to "lengthen" receiver holes.
This hitch adaptor fits the need: bike rack on top and spare tire below. It has a huge flaw though - the design allows it to rattle. Which really shows it's ugly head once you load it. The engineers should be called to the carpet on this one. Guys lines are nearly mandatory using this hitch adaptor.
The Curt dual 2" receiver extension appears to be of high quality. It does the job of getting my carrier above the exhaust pipes.
The Erikson retractable ratchet straps also appear to be very easy to use to keep cargo in my carrier secure.
I have a hitch mounted winch that I need to use occasionally to winch various things on to a flat bed trailer. The Curt Dual receiver was a great solution for me! I can also use with my hitch mounted bike carrier when traveling.

Does what it is supposed to do. Allowed me to install my 2" bike rack on my 2017 Sienna higher off the ground to prevent it from scraping on the ground.
We were thrilled to receive our hitch today after ordering it three days ago. We have towed boats and horse trailers for thirty years. We have just purchased a new Class A Motorcoach and wanted to find out how to Best load two bikes and tow a Mini Cooper at the same time. We did not want to use the ladder for the bikes. My husband had seen a product like this and knew it was exactly what we wanted. I tracked it down and we can’t wait to get everything all loaded up. Based on our experience it is obvious that this is a high quality durable product. These guys are great to work with too. Very refreshing.
This is exactly the hitch I was looking for to accommodate travelling in my Tacoma with a tandem kayak as well as a Yakima bike rack for two bikes. It actually saved me from buying a multi-sport trailer which can limit the possibilities of parking in limited areas to take advantage of secluded biking and kayaking venues.

Hitch receiver very well built solid steel shank so the anti rattle hitch pin could not be used on it. I put it on the back of my motor home so I can use the bike rack and tow my Jeep at the same time. Drlrvery time through UPS was outstanding as we move quite often because we full time RV.
I turn it over to lower the mobility scooter carrier down low enough to be able to run the scooter on and off of the ramp that is attached. Would like to sent a picture but have no way of doing so. I am very pleased with the product and quality of it. I have a 2017 Ford Explorer with a factory hitch, very high.

I bought an entire toad tow package kit wiring, breaking system tow bar, base plates everything ! My ranger all the way to Mount Rushmore last year and everything worked great! Created a nice level towing setup for my 2018 Chevrolet Colorado behind my 2023 Entegra Esteem Class C motorhome.
I needed the Roadmaster high-low adapter to drop my tow point down so my tow bar was level between my Motorhome and my Chevy Colorado. It works as advertised and even with the weight of the truck pulling on the drop of the bar it is solid enough I feel very confident that I will be able to tow for many carefree miles.
Simple to install and absolutely needed to keep the tow bar within 3" of the hitch height. Plus when I went over a steep driveway in my 30' Winnebago Vista, I was concerned that this may bottom out - but instead, there was a frame rail under the RV that scraped instead. This unit was well clear. If you find yourself in a situation where this could scrape the ground, it is easy just to put the brake on in the car and pull the release pin on the this unit. Then, reconnect later.
400 pound TW. We carry two e-bikes on the back of our coach and needed to raise the bike rack. Strong and perfect fit.
Works perfect for ensuring tow bar is l evel.
The 6" drop hitch was just what I needed to level my tow bar between my (Georgetown) RV and (Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara) towed vehicle.
It is a very strong, solid piece. Just completed a round trip between 700 mile round-trip with no problems.
The run-through of the unit dimensions in your video really helped to ensure the unit was the right fit for my RV receiver and tow bar.

Solid chunk of metal. No problems. Need to keep areas that rub treated for rust, but thats expected.

I sold my vehicle and purchased a new jeep and no longer utilize the adapter. I purchased a new roadmaster tow bracket from u and so far its fine.
Worked great to level the tow bar out between our lifted Jeep and the RV. Very stout and glad we went with heavier duty unit
The product works as described. There is one problem in compatibility with a Blue Ox tow bar. The pin holes in the receiver are pressed rather than drilled. This process decreases the inner receptacle size and it has to be increased by manually filing the inside of the tow bar receiver. Structurally well made.
I installed a TorkLift Eco Hitch on the front of my F250. It sits higher than most front hitches. I need this drop receiver to lower my motorcycle below my line of sight! VERY heavy duty!
I needed this high/low hitch receiver to bring the hitch up to level to pull my jeep behind my RV. It works excellent, very happy with it one year later!
Just what you need if your 4 wheel drive pickup is too high. I use it to get my wheel chair ramp close enough to the ground to use.

I bought this drop hitch because I carry a motorcycle sideways on a rack behind my SUV. The SUV sits high so pushing the motorcycle up the ramp is difficult and lowering that rack makes loading and unloading easier and safer. The SUV also has the spare tire on the rear door and this drop hitch moves the rack out about two inches giving me more room for the bike. The big thing about this drop hitch is it’s strength. My bike weighs 350 pounds this hitch is rated at 400 pounds but it can probably handle much more than the class III hitch itself.
Purchased for bike rack , I am handicapped and this adapter will lower it and make it easier to load my three wheeled bike This company is awesome to deal with Thank You

Please keep in mind that using this or any hitch adapter or extender will lower the towing and tongue weight capacity of your hitch by half.
works great, it is the right drop for the toad car so it pulls level. I have seen some toads being pulled and the hitch receiver is to high so the front of the car is being pulled at an upward angle, which is not a good idea.
I recently purchased the 6" hitch extension from e-trailer... which fit perfect thanks to the wonderful help I received from Debora H. Without her help and all the time she spent with me on the phone I would have purchased the wrong one...again. I appreciate all her help, she saved me from another frustrating purchase and return. The hitch extension she recommended fit perfect for my application and was less expensive than the one I was originally looking at. Thank you again for your help.
Received the product in excellent time. It is just what we needed and were very pleased that we could get the drop hitch made by Roadmaster as it will match the tow bar that we have on out motorhome and tow vehicle.

I had a hitch place on my 2008 Toyota Sienna. The only problem is I would have to make major adjustment to hook up my daughter wheel chair lift. Uhaul told me to search online for a high low hitch. Thank God it lead me to etrailer which had several differ kind. The pack arrive quickly and the product is outstanding. This save me at least $2000.00 worth of work. Very good, heavy construction. Pin hole for the MH reciever should be a couple inches farther back.
This high-low hutch adapter was exactly what I needed for The proper height to tow my dinghy/car. Very well-made & no worries about being able to handle the weight. My tow vehicle is a 2017 Ford F150.

Be aware that using this extender will LOWER the capacity both the towing and the tongue weight capacity of your hitch by half.
