Cool-colored light, especially that with a high color temperature, promotes driver alertness, as opposed to warm-colored light, which promotes relaxation. Color temperature is based on chromaticity, which refers to the quality of a color rather than its luminance. In short, Vision X's halogen bulbs incorporate bright light with high-quality color so that not only can you see the world around you, but you can be truly aware of it.

Today we're going to review part number VX-LHS. These are the the Vision X H3 Halogen Headlight Bulbs. They are a superwhite color and they come as a quantity of two. Now, this part number you can see, we ship it to you on a nice hard plastic case to protect the bulbs from any damage. When you get it you can just pop it open. One thing I do want to mention when you do open this and get access to the bulbs, when you go to install them or you handle them, you want to handle them by the metal base themselves.
You don't want to touch the glass portion. The reason that is is the oil from your fingers will get on that glass and stay on it. Then when you install these and turn them on, the high temperature of the bulb with that oil on it could cause that bulb to crack or shatter. Anytime you handle the bulb like that, you want to handle it by the actual metal base itself. Don't touch the glass part, just the metal portion. Now, these are halogen bulbs which will replace your vehicle's factory headlight bulbs.
It gives you improved brightness, increased visibility. This is a superwhite beam which has a blue tint that will resemble a high-intensity discharge lighting. That will reflect better off of road signs and markers along the highway. It does shine up to 30-percent brighter and up to 25-percent farther than factory bulbs. This does have a high color temperature which improves the visibility and promotes driver awareness.
That will also increases your depth perception and reduces eye strain and fatigue. It's a durable, long-lasting construction. It has a 250-hour lifespan. It is a fast and easy installation, as you can see right here, you just plug this into your vehicle's existing headlamp sockets. Now these bulbs are Department of Transportation compliant. The specs on them again, this part number contains two bulbs.
The bulb type is an H3. The wattage on it is 55 watts at 12 volts. The brightness is 900 lumens. The color temperature of the bulb is 5300 degrees kelvin. These bulbs do have a lifetime warranty. installed super easy. Only thing is you need to tape the contacts or you may blow a fuse on an older car.

Works great so far, the case the bulbs came in did came damaged, looks like they were dropped and cracked, but other than that they work great! and therefore the crack wasn’t an issue since the bulbs themselves wasn’t damaged. I’m using these on my 2006 Yamaha YZF 600R headlight bulb. Install was easy and they look good. Came with 2 bulbs. 1st photo is the low beam the second is the high beam.
good product at decent price. Not as bright as advertised but that maybe my headlights being foggy. But they still look better at night
These bulbs are a great replacement for your stock low beams. I just wanted a white light instead of the incandescent orange. They are a tad brighter and do make things better to see. Installing is easy on the left side and the right side just needs a little more work.

Low beam bulbs for my GMC Sierra SLE. I just received them and have not installed them yet. However, I want to compliment etrailer for the fast and efficient service they provided. I ordered the original bulbs myself using the decision tree provided me. After a couple of days, I called to follow up on my order (because they were out of stock) and Bill, one of their service reps reviewed my order and found a cheaper pair that were in stock. When I asked what was the difference in price, he advised me that I had ordered bulbs made by a smaller manufacturer; the replacement was equally as good but made by a bigger company. Several days later, I received the bulbs. Great service!

Besides a little fitmentg issue, had to trim the lights to fit in to re housings. I Love the lights another seem to be holding up fine.
Thought too they’d be brighter and look a little cooler blue but you guys are the best and I won’t be quitting you guys. Still have not put toe on floorboard I ordered for my 03 Acura MDX. Quick take me thru? Should get it on and I’m sure it’s easy.
Needed more help opening the damn light bulb pkg then installing new bulbs. That was easy and straight forward.

While these new bulbs absolutely are brighter than the original OEM bulbs, they weren't exactly what I was expecting. I thought they were the super bright blu"ish" colored lights that I'm seeing on other cars coming at me these days. So my expectations were a little off but that doesn't change the fact that these are as advertised and are definitely brighter.
Great light bulbs, had them for a whole year. Still running strong. I'll buy another pair again makes my cars look nicer. Nice bright white color.

besides a little shipping snafu, (still arrived inside the shipping window) the lights are nice and white about the same as stock halogen as far as brightness overall the are good for the price. how long they last we shall see thank you guys for the quick customer response.
