Features to know about

Effortless Vehicle Securing: Roller Idler Advantage

Securing your vehicle on a trailer can be a backbreaking task, but not with this revolutionary ratchet strap. The built-in roller idler lets you move the ratchet away from the vehicle, making it easy to tighten down the strap without crawling under your car. This design not only reduces the stress on your body but also ensures maximum tension with minimal effort, providing peace of mind for those long hauls.

Engineered for Safety: Superior Load Capacity

When transporting a vehicle, safety is non-negotiable. The Erickson E-Track Wheel Tie-Down Strap boasts a safe working load limit (WLL) of 1,100 lbs, handling a maximum load (break strength) of 3,300 lbs. This means you can trust it to secure your vehicle’s wheels effectively, catering to a variety of transport needs whether it's your classic car or your ATVs in the toy hauler.

Versatility in Length and Design: 12-Feet of Dependable Performance

The 2" wide x 12' long strap provides ample length to secure vehicles of different sizes securely in place without the fear of slipping, thanks to the strategically built roller idler as a third anchor point. This configuration ensures the strap wraps securely around the tire, eliminating the risk of losing tension as you drive.

Durability That Lasts: Quality Materials

Long trips can expose your equipment to harsh conditions, but this strap is ready to withstand it all. Constructed with strong polyester webbing and rust-resistant zinc-coated steel components, it promises long-lasting use without compromising performance over time.

Effortless Compatibility: Seamless E-Track Integration

The strap's spring-loaded fittings snap seamlessly into E-track slots, allowing a quick and secure setup every time. Even if your trailer doesn’t come with an E-track, a separate installation of these tracks can accommodate the strap easily, ensuring everything remains in place whether you’re tying down your hot rods, race cars, or even your beloved classic Mustang.

Simplified Setup: Stress-Free Assembly and Use

Forget about fumbling with complicated setups. This tire strap comes equipped with fittings that clip effortlessly into E-track anchor slots, ensuring a quick assembly process. Once in place, operate the ratchet with plenty of room, keeping your load secure every mile of the journey, making it ideal for anyone from hobbyists to professional car haulers.

Note

  • Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. Amazing product! We transport race cars and some don’t have great places to tie down to and shift during transport. I’ve used these on a ‘65 Morgan for the past year and they are perfect!

I have trailered my Motorcycle hundreds of miles, without any issues, they hold great and fit very well under the tight fenders on my spyder.

Still working very well after a year. I did have to adjust the rubber blocks, but that is more due to the fact that mt fenders are very tight to the wheel.

Great product. Fast shipping and easy installation. If you are tired of having to lay on your back and side your self under your car to strap it down, this is a great alternative. Ordered the EM58523 and EM19148 for my open trailer and worked perfect.

First off, I appreciate you following up. The Erickson Tie Down Straps works great. Even though I dont have the Chevelle anymore, but when I did use the straps , they worked great.

by:

Im still not getting what I was trying to order, I wanted a strap which encompasses the entire "tire" not just over the surface. I had questioned the salesman that it goes over the entire wheel like a cradle.

Hey Beverly. Were you looking for a wheel net, such as part # EM58522? If so, what is your tire size and I can look to see what we have available that would fit your needs.

by:

Great way to tie down my classic Mustang. Bought extra ones on this purchase in case one gets damaged. The etrack attachment is quick and simple. The low profile checks make positioning the car in proper position easy, no guesswork. Great service from etrailer. I have made several trailer related purchases from etrailer. Recommend them for all your trailer related needs.

by:

Bought these e track straps 1year ago. They work great. We tow high end cars like Ferrari, Maserati, we also do your every day cars. We highly recommend these straps.

by:

Worked great. Very solid hold on vehicle. Rubber blocks hold strap in position over tires. Able to use this strap on lower vehicles where a tire bonnet does not work… Great product overall.

by:

Installation of the E-Track is fairly simple. Just use every available cross member and surface mount the remaining every other hole is what I could best. I doubled up close to the ends. Straps are self explanatory. Quality products.

Used for auto transport.

Thanks!

by:

The reason I only give this product two stars is because the first time I used the straps the roller broke. Contacted etrailer and was told they would not replace item. Here is some pictures.

by:

I love these straps. I had to remove the rubber blocks for my application but they popped right off and can be put back on any time.

by:

I LOVE these straps, I've used them on everything from a side by side to a 2500 truck. They're cheaper than buckets, however they work just as well. All of the parts are very good quality.

by:

Works great! Easy and fast to secure my RZR on trailer

I have had several different Tie-down straps over the years. This one is the best and eaisest to use. This order is for a new trailer.

Very good, the rubber blocks stay on the tires and my cars do not get loose inside the trailer. I use these with my two-car trailer.

by:

Tying a car down by the wheels is the least-bad option I've found, and these straps are the best tool for that job.

Tying down the wheels tends to shift and loosen less during transit than tying to the frame, and I feel like it's less likely to mess with the alignment than tying to a suspension hard part.

If you have an open trailer you can stand next to rather than cramped inside while working, you'll like these even better than I do.

Thanks Laura, The straps and e-track worked great. I installed them in a 28 enclosed trailer to haul my show cars.

Products performed just like they said it would. The straps fit perfectly over my 48 Chev Sedan Delivery so I didn't have to worry about them rubbing on the whitewalls like the other style would have done. Items in stock shipped right away and company communicated when balance of order was shipped. Great customer service and products. Thank you

Searched for months trying to find a way to tie down my Goldwing Trike in its garage on wheels. Found this combination on etrailer and it works fantastic!! Safer than any other way of tie down ie, using frame or triple tree. just strap both rear wheels to e-track that is firmly mounted to your trailer and tie down the front wheel to keep it from bouncing, also. Great product.

by:

I wish I had found and installed these tie down straps originally. These tie down straps work so much better and are easy to strap the car down and go and not worry about loosening up

The e-track tie downs were seriously one of the best purchases I’ve made. I have a 72 corvette that I haul to shows and other places. It’s a nightmare to try to tie it down with just straps. The e-track system made it easy. I also use it to tie down my commercial mower. I highly recommend this product

by:

The E-Track system I purchased is vey well designed and easy to install. This system works great in my trailer that secures my classic cars. I definitely recommend this E-Track system as it is a great product.

by:

I just installed the etrack system on my trailer to tie down my Polaris RZR. First off all the build quality of this system is great and does a great job of securing down my RZR. Plus the support at Etrailers is world class, they answered all my questions and made the buying proccess simple.

great product worked as advertised

These are super star items for lock my bikes in place. They can work in all locations around the trailer. The floor and E-Tracks along the walls. Thanks for making my life easier!!!!!

  • Can E-Track be Installed in Car Hauler for Multiple Car Widths
You can install the Erickson Horizontal E-Track # E19148 in any manner you like, so for a car hauler that has cars of different widths you can place E-track side-by-side, as you can see one of our customers did in the accompanying photo. This E-track is only 5-1/8" wide so you can install numerous different tracks to meet as many widths as possible. For additional support I do recommend using the E-Track Backing Plate # BPEZ during your install. This would be the best option and then you...

Yes, you certainly can install E-track with one in front and one in back of the tires. It makes sense to position the track that way, since the ATV may be on one side or the other. E-track is so versatile there are a lot of different ways you could make this work. You just want to make sure that the mounting slots are horizontal to the tire. One suggestion is to use a few smaller pieces of E-track like part # ET4S. These could be placed side by side in your desired location to give you...

One of the great things about E-Track is that you can mount it pretty much anywhere you want (as long as there is adequate support).
