  • You can get a replacement key for your Yakima rack. Since the number you referenced is A138, you will need replacement key # Y8772-A138. Replacement keys are sold in quantities of 1. I recommend getting a couple and storing one in a safe place. To order more than one of the same key just change the number in the quantity box.

  • Do Old Spring Seats have to be Removed to Move Springs On Top of Trailer Axle
  • You do not have to remove the old spring seats unless they cause a clearance issue. But keep in mind that the new spring seats will have to be welded to the axle. Welding should be performed by a qualified professional with experience working on trailers. If you were to use an over-under conversion kit, # K71-384-00, you would not have to do any welding.

It is possible that your cigarette lighter circuit may not have a high enough amperage rating to power your CB radio. Your vehicles owners manual should have the accessory outlet amp rating for the cigarette lighter listed. You will have to compare that value with the value of w

  • How to Find the Brake Switch Wire to Install a Brake Controller in a 2013 Ford Edge
  • Traditionally (at least from 2004 to 2007) Ford has used a green wire on the brake switch to attach to the red wire on a brake controller. However, the only way to know for sure is to test the wires using a circuit tester like # 3808. Manufacturers can use any wire they want and if they run out of the normal color they use, they grab whatever is available to keep the assembly line moving. To test the wire use the circuit tester to probe the wires. You need the one that only shows power when

This product is designed to take out all the play between your bike rack and the hitch by tightening the rack to the hitch to prevent movement. Check out the review video I attached for this product to see how it installs and works. It is a good idea to use a stabilizer strap like the Curt Strap # 18050 when using a hitch mounted accessory such as

  • Trailer Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2012 Lincoln Navigator
  • I spoke with my contact at Tekonsha about the 2012 Lincoln Navigator with a factory 7-Way wiring harness. He stated that it takes the # 3035-P wiring harness for a brake controller. You will first need it and then the brake controller itself. I recommend the P2, # 90885. It is one of our best selling brake controllers of all time because it is easy to set up, easy to use, and it is reliable. You can disconnect the controller and store it when not in use. If you do this I do recommend following t

  • Clearance Between Roof and Crossbar with Thule AeroBlade Bars on a 2005 Nissan Maxima
  • I went out to our studios and found a Rapid Traverse foot from a # TH480R kit and measured from the base to the bottom of where the bar would be. It was just under 3-1/4 inches. Because roofs are generally sloped and fit is different on every vehicle, use this measurement as a guide only to estimate where the bottom of the bar will approximately be. In addition to the foot pack you will also need the crossbars, # THARB53, and fit kit # THKIT1538.
