DIY Install: Yakima RidgeLine Roof Rack for Flush Rails on your 2016 Dodge Dart- Video
Today on our 2016 Dodge Dart we'll be taking a look at the Yakima Roof Rack Kit. This consists of the Yakima JetStream Crossbars, part number Y00425, the BaseLine Towers, part number Y00146, and two sets of base clip fit kits, first one is part number Y06118 for the front, and part number Y06123 for the back. The Yakima Rook Rack Kit will allow you to carry many different vehicle accessories on your vehicle's roof rack system, whether that's bike racks, cargo boxes, cargo baskets, or ski and snowboard carriers. The JetStream Crossbars are an aerodynamic design which will reduce wind noise and drag and allow you to carry vehicle accessories, whether they're clamp-on or channel mounted accessories. The whole kit has a quick and easy installation, we'll show you how to do that next. Now everything that you see here on our table is included with our kit, the only thing you'll need to provide yourself is a flat tape measure of some sort. We have our BaseLine Foot Pack here, our end cap for our Crossbar, our fit kit for the back bar, our adapters to connect our Foot Pack to our Crossbar, and then our included tool that's going to help us tighten everything down. more

Today on our 2016 Dodge Dart, we'll be taking a look at WeatherTech front floor mats in black, part number WT444691. These are also available in gray, part number WT464691. Here we have the WeatherTech floor mats installed. These are going to be a custom fit, perfectly contoured to our vehicle. You'll see all along the bottom, we're going to have these channels that are going to divert dirt and debris and liquid away from our feet. It'll also keep it off of our carpet. We're going to have that raised contour edge. more

How to Set Up Your Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2016 Dodge Dart- Video
Today on our 2016 Dodge Dart we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Sportframe class 1 trailer hitch receiver, part number 24890. Here's what this hitch is going to look like once it's installed on the vehicle. As you can see, it's tucked up nice and tight to the underside of the fascia here so it's going to maintain a pretty clean look when on the vehicle so it's not going to take away and make it really stand out. Features the 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening. It's got the rolled steel safety chain connection points underneath here. It's got a 1/2" hitch pinhole, which is going to be good for securing all of your class 1 accessories. This features a 200 pound max tongue weight rating, which is the the downward force here on the inside of the receiver tube opening. more

Today on our 2016 Dodge Dart we're doing a test fit of the Hollywood Racks Baja trunk-mount 2-bike rack, part number HRB2. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to show you how we do that. We have two cradles in place with three straps, two on our frame and one as our anti-sway strap in the back. I'm going to start by pulling down and lifting up to release those. Then we'll be able to pull our bike off and set it off to the side. With that out of the way we'll take a measurement. more

Today on our 2016 Dodge Dart we're doing a test fit of the Rhino-Rack roof rack kit. This is consisting of part numbers RRVA126B-2. It's going to be our Vortex Aero crossbars. For our legs we're using the 2500 series legs for Vortex crossbars, part number RRRLKVA. Then our custom fit kit for our Dodge Dart, we're using part number DK402. Everything you see here on our vehicle is what is included. more

Today, on our 2016 Dodge Dart, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Mountain Trail Rooftop Bike Rack, part number RBC035. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. The first feature of this is that there's absolutely no frame contact whatsoever to attach the bike to the bike rack. Instead, we have this fork mount here at the front, and this lockable skewer to hold it in place. Now, when you lock it down, your bike rack will be secure to the bike rack. more

Fit Verified: Rhino-Rack Road Warrior Rooftop Bike Carrier on a 2016 Dodge Dart- Video
Today, on our 2016 Dodge Dart, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Road Warrior Rooftop Bike Rack, part number RBC036. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look, and show off some of the features. Now how this has actually gripped to the bike rack, you're going to notice, there's absolutely no frame contact at all, so your bike frame itself won't get scratched up. Instead, it actually grips it by the fork mounts, here, by this lockable skewer, so your bike is actually secured to the rack once it's installed. We also have a wheel strap, here at the rear, to keep that secure in place, and with everything attached right now, I'm going to go ahead and show you that there's absolutely no interference whatsoever between the bike rack itself or the trunk. Let's go ahead and take our bike off and set it aside. We'll start at the rear wheel strap, here. more

Thule Archway Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2016 Dodge Dart- Video
Today, on our 2016 Dodge Dart, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Archway XT 2-Bike Rack, part number TH9009XT. This is a trunk mount bike rack that holds up to two bikes. We already have one bike installed, so let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. The first feature I'd like to show off is the fact that it has an integrated cable lock here at the end. You wrap it around your bikes, and come up to the front portion here, and then lock it into place with the included lock core. The cradles are movable along the arms and have this nice shock resistant padding here, so your bikes won't get scratched up once they're being installed. It grips your bike at three points. more

Today on our 2016 Dodge Dart we're doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon XT roof-mounted cargo basket. That part number is TH859XT. Now this is 49" long by 40" wide by 6" deep and has a 150 pound weight capacity. Although it does have that weight capacity, you do want to check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure your vehicle can withstand that much weight. Now we already have three of our four brackets secured down. We're going to show you our fourth one here. more

To their 2016 Dodge Dart we're doing a test fit of the CURT roof-mounted cargo basket. That part number is C18115. This is 41-1/2" long by 37" wide by 4" deep, and has a 150 pound weight capacity. Even though it does have that weight capacity you do with check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure your vehicle can withstand that much weight. We've already got three of our four spacers down and secured with our brackets. We have our fourth spacer in place. more

Today on our 2016 Dodge Dart we're doing a test fit of the Rhino-Rack roof-mounted cargo basket, part number RMCB. Now this is 47" long by 35" wide and has a 165 pound weight capacity. You do want to check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure that your roof can withstand that much weight. We already have three of our four mounts secured in place. We have our spacers for our fourth mounted on. We're just going to show you how we secure that down. more
