CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2020 Ford Edge- Video
Hey everybody. It's Rob here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA Dual View Universal Towing Mirror on our 2020 Ford Edge. Now I'm back here at my trailer. We got it hooked up to our Ford Edge and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror. That's really not a big issue for whenever you're towing a trailer, when you go to change lanes, you really can't see that far over and with something this far behind your edge, you really want to know what's over there before you change lanes. more

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors Installation - 2020 Ford Edge- Video
Rob: Hey everybody. It's Rob here at etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a look at the K source universal towing mirror on our 20,20 Ford Edge. Now I got my trailer hooked up to my Edge here, and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror. That's usually not a problem, but when we're going down the road and we're pulling our trailer, maybe we need to change lanes on the highway. That's when it starts to become a problem, because we can't see that far over, especially this far back from our Edge.So a lot of us end up sticking your head out the window, but then we're taking our eyes off the road and that's really not a good practice.Well, that's where our towing mirror is definitely going to help. more

Now, here I am in the back of my trailer hooked up to my Edge, and you can see me in the factory mirror. But the problem comes in is when I step away or if you're trying to look over to change lanes. If you're driving down the highway, you can't see this far over, but that's where our towing mirror is really going to help. We're going to be able to see a much wider field of view. more

Today on our 2018 Ford Edge we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Cipa Universal Towing Mirror.They're also available in a quantity of two. Our towing mirror is gonna offer us a wide field of view, this is really gonna help us when we're passing, changing lanes or even parking. It's really gonna give us an advantage when we're towing a trailer. As you can see, you can see me in the towing mirror but not in the factory mirror. As I get closer to the trailer you can see me in the factory mirror. With this set up you can see there's no blind spots.The mirror's gonna spin around 360 degrees so that'll give us many different options for when we're using it. more

Today on our 2015 Ford Edge, we're going to be doing a test fit on the K-Source universal clip on towing mirror, part number KS3891. It offers us a wide field of view, it's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see, I'm visible on the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. Now, if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be adjusted to most angles. We've got our up and down, diagonal, and then side to side. If we remove the Philips head screw from the back, we can take the mirror out, turn it to the horizontal position for a different view. more

Now if I take a few steps in towards my trailers, you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park or even back up while towing a trailer or camper. As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Between the two mirrors, the larger and the smaller one, you get the same view just a closer more clearer view in the larger one. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see, there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up. more

If I take a few steps in, towards my trailer, as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is view you'd get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees, so if you'd like to keep it at that horizontal position for a different view, you have that option. It can also be adjusted to most angles. We've got our up and down, diagonal, and side to side. Each one of the four tabs is not going to interfere with too much of the movement or operation of our factory mirror, and we can even still fold it in. more
