Hello, neighbor, this is Curt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the rear mud flaps from WeatherTech on our 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500. So mud flaps are just a really great way of protecting the underside of your vehicle from all kinds of different road debris. Be it, you know, just the typical mud and dirt you get out there, rocks and pebbles on the highway, gravel roads, or if you live in an area where winters can be a factor. Also, any of that salt spray and things like that that could end up being coming up from the underneath. Now, the Silverado 2500 does have a factory mud flap, but it leaves a bit to be desired. It doesn't really come down that far. more

Hello, neighbor, this is Curt with Etrailer, and today we're gonna take a look at the WeatherTech mudflaps on the front portion of our 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500. So mudflaps are an excellent way of protecting the underside of your vehicle and your running boards or nerf bars from any of that road debris that's gonna shoot up from your front tires. So there's gonna be things like mud, rocks, pebbles, gravel if you're traveling on gravel roads. And if you're in an area where you have some harsh winters, you've got that road salt to contend with as well. Having these mudflaps on is gonna give you an extra 5 1/2 inches of protection from what you get on the factory mudflaps that it comes with. So you can see here on our running boards, we've got all this debris along the front and along our brackets here, even all the way back to the middle bracket. more

Now, WeatherTech is known for making high-quality custom-fit things like mudflaps. And these in particular are gonna be able to fit right over and around the existing factory mudflaps you already have. So installation is really, really minimal and really non-invasive. It's gonna be a thermoplastic resin, so it's gonna be very high quality, holding up to a lot of high temperatures and low temperatures and things like that. It's also gonna hold up against all that road debris that we're using them for to protect the underside of our vehicle. more

Hi, I'm Danny with etrailer, and today we're gonna take a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Blue Ox Adjustable Mud Flap System on our 2023 Thor Magnitude. Our neighbor today is using his motorhome to flat tow his truck and he opted to get this Mud Flap System so this isn't spraying rocks and debris all over his brand new truck and getting it chipped up. So this is gonna be great for keeping your vehicle nice when you're at the campsite. As you can see, these are made of a nice thick rubber material and it also has a mesh rock guard in the middle here to prevent debris from flying through the middle here, protecting your vehicle or others on the road. Hi, this is Scott with etrailer, and today we're gonna take a look at and install our WeatherTech No-Drill Mud Flaps for our 2024 Ford F-150. The Ford F-150 is a really popular truck, and a really nice add-on for them is gonna be mud flaps. If you're daily driving your truck, these are really nice to have. It's gonna protect the paint back here from getting chipped up from paint or whatnot. And having them in the rear is really nice. If you're hauling something behind you, say you got a trailer, or bike racks, or something like that on the back, they're really nice 'cause they keep rocks and debris and stuff from flying up and chipping up your trailer, or hitting your bike racks or your cargo carrier, stuff like that on the back. more

So if you didn't opt for the OEM Mud Flaps, this is gonna be an easy way to get that additional protection to keep from kicking up mud, rocks, and other road debris on the back of your vehicle. Uses the existing hardware wear from your wheel well cover, and you'll just be able to screw this right in and then lock it right into place. Mud flaps are pretty straightforward, but here at etrailer.com we try to touch every product that we have so you can get an idea of what it's like in your hands just from our videos. Now, these truck or trailer mud flaps are 3/16ths of an inch thick, and they're constructed of polymer or hard plastic, which is going to be more rigid than rubber, and they're not gonna sail in the wind. The durable construction can withstand subfreezing temperatures, so these flaps are not gonna get brittle when the rain turns to snow and ice. And despite being more stiff than rubber, these flaps still have enough bend and give that they're going to flex rather than break if they hit something on the road. more

The fronts are gonna help with kicking rock up onto your paint, keeping dirt and debris clear of that painted surface, and the material is going to be a thermoplastic resin. It's a bit more of a rigid material, but still has some flex to it and it's gonna match all the black plastics on your vehicle really well. Hi, everyone. Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this Blue Ox Adjustable Mud Flap with Rock Guard. Now, even though this is designed for hitches, let me preface that by saying it's really going to attach to your ball mount. So, if you're the type of person that maybe has a two-inch ball mount and you're using a sleeve reducer for your 2 1/2 inch hitch, you'll wanna go with the two-inch version of this mudflap. Just be sure to pick up the right one because the title might be a little bit confusing. more
