Thule EasyFold XT 2 Electric Bike Rack Review - 2020 Infiniti QX50- Video

Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Thule Easyfold bike rack and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2020 Infiniti QX50. This is a premium rack with a bunch of premium features. You can tilt it away, you have a ramp included and it folds up to be more compact when storing in your garage or when you're on the road. So we'll talk about those features but it also has some downsides like it doesn't fold up, up against your vehicle. You still have a lot of length added to the back of you and also it does take a little bit of time to take the bikes off and put them back on. more

Yakima Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Infiniti Q50- Video

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Yakima roof rack system and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2014 Infiniti Q50. If you wanna carry around some fun accessories like bikes because you don't have a hitch on your vehicle or you also wanna carry around maybe kayaks or roof boxes for extra cargo space, what you first need is a roof rack system. So there are a couple fits for your vehicle but this is gonna be the Yakima roof rack which is ideal if you want something super sturdy, gives you more crossbar spread and is great if you wanna carry around longer items and as a roof rack that stays on your vehicle for a longer period of time. I have the 50 inch long JetStream crossbars here. This is the length recommended by Yakima and if you want to, you can get longer and or slightly shorter crossbar. I actually recommend this length as well because it gives you some overhang but not too much. more

It's a saddle-style kayak carrier that supports your kayak by the hole, but is also designed as an extra large carrier for your bigger fishing poles. Now, here on the Q50, it is a shorter sedan, which makes it easier for us to load this kayak onto the rack. So Yakima OnRamp is pretty popular because it's designed for electric bikes with the ramp installed on the rack. That way if you're forgetful like me you don't have to have to remember to keep it in your car because you know it's on the rack, ready to go. Now even though it does have that great weight capacity and the ramp, there are some downsides too like how tricky it is to get the bikes loaded up. It does take a little of extra movements to get the bikes on there as well as to tilt it away. So we'll talk about that focusing on the QX50. more

So the Destination platform rack is a great way to carry around four bikes while still having an affordable platform rack and of the platform racks that can carry multiple bikes this is gonna be one of the most light as well as compact racks. The downside though is it's not or it doesn't have the premium features you would expect from the pricier racks like tilting away and great weight capacity. So we'll talk about how it fits our QX50. The main thing is if you do want to access your hatch real quick you are going to have to take your bikes off. So how is the bike mounted to this rack Well this has three touch points. more

Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2018 Infiniti QX60- Video

Hey everyone, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt T-Connector Trailer Wiring Harness here on a 2018 Infiniti QX60. So your trailer wiring harness is gonna be one of the few things that we need in order to successfully tow a trailer here with our QX60. In addition to this, we're gonna need a trailer hitch and a ball mount slash hitch ball. All of which we carry here at etrailer. Now the wiring harness is simply put is gonna allow us to transfer these signals from the vehicle to the trailer so we can let other motors out in the road know what signals we're gonna be making because a lot of times our lights are actually gonna block our vehicle lights. Hey everybody. Jared here at etrailer.com and today I like to look at the Curt Premium 4 Bike Racks hanging style bike rack system for those two inch hitches here on our 2020 Infiniti QX80. This bike rack itself is built for a family of four and does have two load response up here and then it contours the shape towards the end here to accommodate for two smaller bikes without having to use that bike adapter bar. It does have nice reflectors at the end so, it is going to help with vehicles that are behind you that are going to allow them to see that you do have something extended on the back of your Infinity here. With 180 pound weight capacity, this bike rack is going to help you get those four bikes to and from the trail. This is one of the main six components of our flat towing set up. We have our base plate, our tow bar, our wiring, our braking system, our safety chains, and our Brake-Lite Relay.The reason that we need a Brake-Lite Relay is because when the brakes are applied and we have our turn signal on, the brake lights are going to override that turn signal.What the relay is going to do is let us use that turn signal and keep everybody behind us informed. I want to walk you through how to install the CIPA universal clip-on towing mirror.Now, the full purpose of a towing mirror is to give you full line of sight outside of what your factory mirror can't see if you're pulling a larger trailer. Here at the back of the trailer, you can see we have plenty of visibility. If I step outside of that, we lose that visibility in our factory mirror, but gain it in our towing mirror. more

Best 2016 Infiniti Q50 Trailer Hitch Options- Video

Connor: Hey guys, how's it going Connor here today at etrailer.com. We're going to be taking a look at the best trailer hitch options here for our 2016 Infiniti Q50. Up above here, we have the Curt trailer hitch and down below we have our Draw-Tite trailer hitch.Now, there are some noticeable differences between these two options. Number one, the Curt hitch as we can see here, it's going to look a little bit nicer than our Draw-Tite hitch. Our patter coat has more of a glossier finish whereas our Draw-Tite hitch has more of a duller finish, also on the receiver tube opening, you can see here the Curt hitch has a nice collar, which is going to make for a sleek look whereas the Draw-Tite hitch doesn't have that collar.So if you're going for the hitch that's going to look the best on the rear of your vehicle, then you're going to want to choose the Curt hitch. However, if you're going with the hitch that's going to be easier to install, you're definitely going to want to go with the Draw-Tite and there's a couple of reasons for this.Number one, if we take a look at these side plates here on our trailer hitch, you can see there's going to be an extra bend in our Draw-Tite option. more
