How Does the Swagman Dispatch Bike Rack Fit on a 2017 Winnebago View Motorhome- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman DISPATCH platform-style bike rack, and we're gonna see how it fits on the back of our 2017 Winnebago View motorhome. So if you're looking for just a simple way to get two bikes to your campsite on the back of your motorhome, and you're maybe not too concerned with e-bike compatibility, then I think the DISPATCH is a really great option here. You're only gonna get a 45-pound capacity per bike, so not great for your e-bikes, but there's plenty of options out there for that if that's something that you are looking for. But if you don't need the heavy capacity, then why pay for it The DISPATCH is gonna work just fine, and it does clear really well on the View here, where a lot of other bike racks have had clearance issues on our handlebars. more

How Does the Saris MHS DUO Bike Rack Fit on a 2017 Winnebago View Motorhome- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we'll be taking a look at the Saris MHS and we're gonna see how it fits on the back of our 2017 Winnebago View motorhome. The MHS is going to be a platform style bike rack capable of carrying up to two really heavy E-bikes. You've got an 80 pound capacity here, which is really impressive, especially since this is motorhome approved. And it's important to pick out the right bike rack for your motorhome because not every rack has that motorhome rating and this one is going to be built extra strong to withstand that extra shock and vibration back here compared to something like a typical passenger vehicle. more

Swagman E-Spec 2-Electric Bike Platform Rack Review - 2017 Winnebago View Motorhome- Video
Howdy there neighbors, Ian with Etrailer here. Got our Swagman E-SPEC on our 2017 Winnebago View, let's get right into it. And this rack is rated for and designed for E-bikes, but will carry your normal bikes. If it's not put on an RV, it is an 80-pound capacity, on your RV, you're gonna be looking at 70 pounds per bike and getting into how the bikes themselves are gonna be held on this rack, we do have this hook that's gonna go over the top of the frame. Get into a situation where your E-bike or maybe a lady's bike or something's gonna have a different type of frame where this isn't gonna reach to it, you may need to get a cross adapter for it. Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Platform Rack Review - 2017 Winnebago View Motorhome- Video
Hey there, Ian with etrailer here, with the Hollywood Racks Destination 4-Bike Bike Rack on our 2017 Winnebago View. Let's take a look. Some key features on this is it is one of the few options you're gonna have for four bikes, opposed to just the two or three, which is most common you're gonna see. Another feature is that this will allow for alternative frame bikes or children's bikes as well, just because there's multiple tie-down options for just the wheels and single point that's adjustable here on our posts. With this rack, each bike can be up to 35 pounds, so you've got your four total on that. It does allow for a 48-inch wheelbase as well. more

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs Installation - 2020 Winnebago View Motorhome- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs for the rear axle on a 2020 Winnebago View. Now, taking a look at the factory jounce bumper compared to our SumoSpring, you can clearly see the difference, and this is where that sway control really comes into play because as we're leaning on our vehicle, this takes a while to engage, hit the axle, and then kind of fight against it, where this one's gonna engage pretty quick, not really letting the vehicle sway much. And so it's gonna fight against it on both sides, just kind of closing that gap. And also, it's contoured to the axle, so that's pretty nice. Definitely the difference here is just gonna be how quickly it engages, and that's really gonna prevent your suspension from sagging down and being overworked. more

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System Installation - 2021 Winnebago View Motorhome- Video
Hey guys, this is Jake here with etrailer. Today we've got a 2021 Winnebago View and we're gonna be installing some Timbrens on it to help with the rear suspension. A big question we get here at etrailer is how can I control the body roll or limit it in my RV Well, Timbren is just one of the many suspension enhancements that you can put on your RV because what'll happen is because an RV is so tall, you're gonna have a lot of wind that's causing body roll, bumps in the road, sharp turns. That's all gonna cause the vehicle to rock side to side and that can be a really uneasy feeling. Adding these Timbrens, they're going to replace your jounce bumpers on your motorhome and they're going to engage much faster than the jounce bumpers would have to. The springs we're installing today are gonna be a progressive spring and what that means is the more and more they compress the harder they're gonna work to eliminate that body roll. more

Hello neighbors! It's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look and installing the Roadmaster Nighthawk tow bar on a 2019 Winnebago View. Now there's five main components that are required when flat towing a vehicle. And the first one we'll start off with is the base plate. And that's gonna actually attach to the vehicle via the bumper mounts or the chassis. And it's gonna be a secure mount for us to be able to attach our tow bar. more

Now, if you're starting to go on some long road trips and you are just heading into your motor home and you are wanting to get some bikes to the trailer heads with you, keep in mind these are going to be a little different than if you just had a normal vehicle. Since we're further from our rear axle we are gonna need more support. And that's where the long haul really starts showcasing itself. It has been designed and tested for RVs. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Winnebago View Motorhome- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Swagman CURRENT 2-Bike Platform Rack, for Electric Bikes here on our 2020, Winnebago View. Now if you're starting getting these long road trips, and you do have an E-bike with you, it is gonna be starting to get harder to find what platform is great to actually start hauling them. Now a Swagman CURRENT is specifically designed to start carrying around those big electric bikes. With a 60 pound capacity, we are gonna be doing a good job of getting these big heavy bikes up on here, with no trouble at all. Couple of caveats though, as you can see today we've gone ahead and removed our battery coupling. Let's make sure we are doing that. more

Now, these guys are going to be primarily designed to carry these big heavy e-bikes so they are going to be great on these motor homes as they're going to be nice and sturdy and endurable on the back here, even though we are extended from our rear axle, we're going to have no problem at all with these guys hauling our big rigs on the back of the sky. more

Now, as you guys can see, this is gonna be a good way of getting our big, heavy bikes to where we want to go. As you can see, we do have our big electric bike up on here with a 65-pound capacity rating per bike, then we're not gonna have any issue at all getting most of our standard e-bikes to the trails with us or any other destination. One thing to point out with this, always make sure we are removing that battery coupling on those e-bikes. more

Blue Ox Avail Tow Bar Installation - 2018 Winnebago View Motorhome- Video
Hi there Winnebago owners. Today in your 2018 Winnebago view, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Blue Ox Avail tow bar. Now we're using it with our Equinox today, but it will hook up to any blue ox base plate and also hooks up to CURT base plates that have the style here. That's what we're showing off today. And you can use it with Roadmaster and other manufacturer base plates, as well, as long as you swap out to the appropriate adapter that'll hook to that base plate. We have adapters available here at etrailer, so you can do that with whatever type of setup you may have. more

Hi there Winnebago owners. Today in your 2019 Winnebago review, we're going to be taking a look at showing you how to install the Roadmaster rear anti-sway bar. And this is what our sway bar is going to look like when it's installed. It connects directly to the frame and your rear axle and sits directly in front of the axle.It's custom designed to mold around your axle and drive shift, which will ensure that we have no clearance issues. And the sway bar is going to work with your existing sway bar, which is installed behind the axle to help further reduce sway. This sway bar is significantly larger and more heavy duty than the factory one. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Winnebago View motor home we're going to be installing SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs for the rear axle, part number SSR-338-47.Now this is what it's going to look like when it's installed. As you can see, now that or vehicle's back on the ground . You can see that it's already making contact with our axle, so we're going to get immediate benefits from our helper springs. These benefits will include a smoother ride because our suspension's going to be receiving assistance from our SumoSpring right off the bat. It's going to reduce body roll and sway because we have that additional resistance here keeping our body straight. And it's just going to give us an overall more pleasant driving experience because it'll be easier to maintain control of our motor home. more

Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar Installation - 2012 Winnebago View Motorhome- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2012 Winnebago View Motor Home, we're gonna be installing Roadmaster's Rear Anti-Sway Bar, part number RM-1209-131. This rear auxiliary sway bar is gonna help prevent sway when going down the road. This is gonna be particularly useful when driving in uneven terrain while parking your RV or run into any potholes. It'll help keep that body roll from going back and forth and bringing it back to straight much quicker. It'll also help improve the handling and lower driver fatigue as it won't be swerving back and forth as much on an uneven road.As you can see here, our auxiliary sway bar is considerably larger and more heavy duty than our factory sway bar. While a sway bar doesn't replace your factory original, it works in conjunction with it as it's installed on the other side of the axle. more
