This rack right here is one of my favorites. It's the Saris MHS. It's modular hitch system and what we're gonna be taking a look at it on is a 2022 Acura MDX. So we have a mountain bike here. If you have a full suspension mountain bike, a downhill bike, regardless, any wheel base up to 53 inches, this is gonna be able to work with. And also when it comes to tire widths for those fat tire bikes, up to five inches. more

We're gonna focus on the Acura MDX, mainly how much clearance do we actually get and how much can we carry on this rack It has a 60 pound per bike weight capacity. If you need to open up the hatch like the GuideRail, you have to tilt that down which means you have to lift all that weight on your own. And if you don't have this fully maxed out with that 60 pound per bike weight capacity that can be a pretty heavy lift. more

So a cargo carrier is there, so to just free up or help you get more cargo space behind your vehicle. You are gonna need a 2-Inch Hitch Receiver. This one was installed just recently on this MDX and you can find one here at etrailer, if you don't have one already. But once you have a receiver, this fits right in, you tighten it down, you're good to go and load it up. So let's focus on how it fits on the MDX here. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Acura MDX- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're gonna take a look and install the Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver on a 2022 Acura MDX. So here you can see the hitch installed on the vehicle and the cross tube here is hidden. So really all that's hanging down is going to be your hitch receiver. So this is gonna be really nice to give a nice OEM look but still get that utility. Now, this is a two inch by two inch opening and so that's gonna be great for a number of different accessories. Now, you'll see here there is a 5/8 hitch pin hole. more

Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the CURT trailer wiring harness four-pole on a 2014 Acura MDX. Having a trailer wiring is a great way to keep yourself safe if you do plan on ever towing a trailer because it's gonna send the light sequence that you're using in your vehicle, which is gonna be your running lights, turn signals, and brake lights to the trailer, letting the people behind you know what you're doing and when you're turning and braking. So, that's gonna be a required application when you are towing. Now, this is also a really nice system because it lives outside the vehicle currently. more

This right here is the Rhino-Rack 2 hanging style bike rack. And we're gonna be taking a look at it on our 2022 Acura MDX. This is gonna be a great entry level way to get two bikes to and from your destination. This one right here is gonna have a capacity of 33 pounds for bikes. So anything heavier than that, we don't wanna use it. And if you do have a carbon fiber frame bike, it's not really the best rack for that just because we do have some frame contact. more

Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Acura MDX- Video
Hello, neighbors! It's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at installing the CURT Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2022 Acura MDX. Now this is what our trailer hitch receiver looks like when it's installed on the MDX. And the great part about this is it's a hidden cross tube, meaning the only part that's gonna be hanging down is the receiver tube opening and the rest of the hitch is actually hidden behind the bumper. So you're gonna retain a nice OEM look, but still have the ability to use your hitch when you need it. Taking a closer look, we're gonna see a nice black powder coat finish, so over time it's gonna resist rust and corrosion and look really good even with road grime over the years. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at our Saris Door County two-bike rack, right here on our 2016 Acura MDX. So this is the Saris Door County or what I call the elevator bike rack. That's because if you power it with your 7-way system, it then lifts and lowers, making easier to move your bike onto it, especially when you have those heavy electric bikes, that makes that easier, and once it's all strapped down, you can then just lift the bike rack up and you're ready to ride. So we'll take a look at some of the different features, but focus on how it works with your Acura MDX and just some different things that would make it easier for you, but also possibly more difficult. Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chain Installation - 2019 Acura MDX- Video
Zach: Hey everybody, Zach here at etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the Titan Chain ladder-style roller tire chains on our 2019 Acura MDX. We're working with a tire size of 245/50R20. If you have a different tire size than that, make sure to use the fit guide to get the proper style chain to fit your MDX. These are going to do a pretty good job of helping you out whenever you're in those conditions where you've got some light snow and you just need a little bit extra traction. These, by no means, are going to be meant for really heavy snow or ice, but what they do excel at is giving you that slight edge whenever you're looking for some traction but giving you a smoother ride. more
