But the main appeal to this is this is gonna be something that's gonna make your life just a little bit easier because when you are using these, a lot of times if you don't wanna push it up all the way, or if yours are kind of wearing out on you, they're gonna not hold themselves up. And if they're not hold holding themselves up and you need to reach into the back of your car, that's gonna be kind of hard to do because that's constantly gonna be applying pressure to the top of you. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2021 Chevrolet Blazer, and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Roadmaster diode wiring kit. Adding diode wiring to your blazer is going to help you to transfer the lighting signals from your motor home to the back of your blazer whenever you're flat towing. Now some other options that you have for lighting whenever you're flat towing your vehicle are going to be magnetic lights, which can kind of be a hassle to set up because you have to run a 4-pole from the back of your vehicle all the way up to the front every single time you wanna flat tow. And then you have to find a place to store those whenever you're not using 'em. So I really don't care for those, especially with newer vehicles having aluminum panels on the vehicle, you can't stick the magnets to those so you're gonna have to have- find a different place to be able to mount those up. more

Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit Installation - 2021 Chevrolet Blazer- Video

Hey guys, it's Jake here with Etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Roadmaster Direct-Connect base plate on our 2021 Chevrolet Blazer. Your base plate is going to be your main connection point for your tow bar to be able to connect to so you can flat tow your Blazer down the road. As you can see here, our base plate is going to be hidden behind the rear fascia, or behind the front fascia. You'll have your, these tabs here are removable so you won't see them whenever you're not flat towing your vehicle. The safety chain loops will stick out of the front fascia so that you can hook up to your safety chains. more

Adding a seven-pole wiring harness to your vehicle is gonna allow you to safely pull either four-pole trailers or seven-pole trailers. You just have to get an adapter if you're wanting to pull a four-pole trailer. But having the seven-pole on here is gonna allow you to pull those trailers with brakes, auxiliary batteries, and reverse lockouts. Your four-pole plug is where you're gonna get those other four functions from, and that is your left and right turn. more

Titan Chain Tire Chains Review - 2023 Chevrolet Blazer- Video

Hi, Matt with Etrailer, and today when we talk about the Titan Chain's assisted tire chains on our 2023 Chevrolet Blazer, and today we're gonna have 'em on our front axle as per what the manual recommends, and our tire size is gonna be 235, 65, R18. Now, the first thing I'd recommend doing is when you do get your tire chains is just kinda laying them out, maybe in your garage or a flat surface, or something dry. You don't wanna learn how to put on tire chains when you're out on the side of the road, and there's a blizzard coming by. That's gonna be not the best learning experience, and when you do have 'em out, just kind of check 'em over, make sure there's no damages to your links, and nothing's twisted up, and we wanna make sure this is in the right orientation, making sure these hooks are facing down on the ground. 'cause when we put 'em on here, they're gonna face up and away from our tires. You also wanna make sure this is facing the correct way, making sure that these yellow links are facing away from your vehicle, and this gray cord is facing towards your vehicle, and make sure this is kinda split down the center, so we can put it behind on either side. more

Reese 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 Chevrolet Blazer- Video

It's not going to have any folding or tilt down features to be able to reach for more accessibility than our hatch or whatnot. So, it's going to be static, and it will not come with a pin and clip, a hitch pin and clip, or a anti-rattle bolt, so we'll have to pick those up. But other than that, let's take a look at some of the features that this cargo carrier is going to provide for our vehicle.Seems very nice on our Blazer here because we are working with two exhausts. If we're going to have anything that's heat or carbon dioxide sensitive, it's going to be really nice to just send it in the middle here, but also, there's definitely other better configurations that you can figure out. more

CIPA Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2019 Chevrolet Blazer- Video

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2019 Chevrolet Blazer, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the CIPA Universal-Fit Dual Lens Towing Mirror, which is also sold as a set.Whenever we use a towing mirror, it's really going to expand our field of view. That can be really useful whenever we're making lane changes, backing up into a tight parking spot, or maybe just wanting to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us. So to give you an example on how much more ground we're going to be able to cover: as you can see, I'm visible in our towing mirror and not in our factory mirror. And since the towing mirror does have that dual lens, you're not only able to see me up close, but also kind of more of a wide angle as well.However, if I take a few steps closer to our boat, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror. And that's really going to help eliminate any of them blind spots as well. more

Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2019 Chevrolet Blazer- Video

Hi there Blazer owners. Today, in your 2019 Chevrolet Blazer, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Tekonsha's T-One 7-Pole Vehicle Wiring Harness. This is what our wiring looks like when it's installed. That's right, it looks like it's just a factory old vehicle here, but if we remove our panel here at the bottom, by spinning the screws at the bottom counter-clockwise, we've got our receiver hidden behind it, as well as our 7-pole connector, conveniently hidden behind the panel here as well. This custom fit 7-pole wiring from Tekonsha is going to provide you with a standard 7-pole here at the back of the vehicle with all the outputs fully functioning, which will include all of your necessary lighting signals, such as your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps, and brake lamps, your auxiliary lighting for your backup lights, as well as a charge line, your auxiliary power circuit. It does have outfits for a brake controller as well. more

And this is what our wiring harness looks like when it's installed. That's right, it looks just like a factory vehicle, but if we remove our cover here, this will reveal our hitch as well as our wiring behind it. There's just two pins we just unthread, and here you can see hidden behind our panel, we have our receiver as well as our 7-pole connector. Included with your kit, you will receive your 7-pole connector as well as a custom-fit harness that plugs directly into the factory wiring located behind the bumper.What you don't get is the brackets to get it mounted up, because that's going to vary from the type of hitch that you have. more

The Tekonsha T-one vehicle wiring harness is an excellent option for this vehicle. It offers a complete plug and play installation and it's going to provide us with our basic trailer lighting functions, such as the stop, the turn signals, and the running lights. The Tekonsha T-one vehicle wiring harness has four pins here. These four pins are for the basic trailer lighting functions, which is going to be our most common trailer connector. Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Chevrolet Blazer- Video

Rob: Hey everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt class three custom fit trailer hitch receiver on our 2020 Chevrolet Blazer. Now, I know you may be wondering where the hitch is, and that's a really nice thing about the Blazer and our Curt hitch. When we're not using it, we're not even going to be able to tell it's there, but if we come down to the bottom, and you turn these two tabs, then we can pull it out and that's going to expose our hitch. That way we can slide that really clean, almost OEM look and we're not telling, but our hitch available for us when we need to.Now, our hitch is going to be a class three which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. That's going to have the widest variety when it comes to options for accessories we can mount up. more
