Today on our 1997 Buick LeSabre we'll be installing Hidden Hitch 1-1/4" receiver tube hitch, part number 90188. Here's what our hitch will look like once it's installed. Next we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements to assist you with selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 7-1/4". From the top of the receiver opening to the ground is 12-1/2". This will assist you with selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 1995 Buick Le Sabre- Video

Today on this 1995 Buick Le Sabre we are going to install part number 18172 from Tow Ready. On this vehicle, what is nice about the wire harness is it is run down one side, so all you have to do is pull back the cover and get to the wiring harness. What is nice about all the GM products is it is almost color for color match up. It is always a good idea to double check everything. We are going to need a ground to do that with, so just install a ground screw into the sheet metal right here. :24 more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2002 Buick LeSabre- Video

Today we are going to be installing Draw-Tite hitch part number 36309 on a 2002 Buick LeSabre. This hitch application will also apply to the Hidden Hitch part number 90140. Okay, underneath the vehicle, we are going to go ahead and take a look at the frame rails and point out the mounting location for the trailer hitch. Looking at the passengers side frame rail, you can see we have got the exhaust here that is mounted to this bracket here at the end of the frame. We are going to need to lower that down. The weld nut that this bolt is attached to, which is holding our exhaust bracket on, is going to provide our rear-most attaching point for the trailer hitch. And that is going to be the same on both sides of the vehicle. Our more forward attaching point we are actually going to have to drill. So what we will do is put the hitch up in position with our rear-most attaching point, and then we will use the hitch as a template to drill the hole out on each side. more
