Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar Installation - 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar on a 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500. Now adding this additional sway bar to your sprinter is gonna make a huge difference. If you've driven a sprinter just once you know that once you're out on the highway, they're fairly top heavy. I used one as a delivery vehicle for a long time and when it's dusty out or when you're passing a semi, it is gonna wanna sway. And especially our RV style here, there's a lot more weight going into it. And the sprinter does have a factory sway bar, but this is an additional one to just further fight that sway that you're gonna get throughout the suspension. more

SumoSprings Solo Front Helper Springs Installation - 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the SumoSprings front helper springs on a 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500. Suspension enhancement is something that a lot of people overlook, but as you're out on the road, especially in a Sprinter, you probably notice they're a little bit top-heavy feeling, and sometimes that translates to when you're driving it, it just doesn't feel as planted because it's leaning. And so cutting down on that sway while driving is really gonna just give you a little bit more confidence in your steering, your braking, and just less sway back and forth. So whether it's a gust of wind from a semi, or if you're in heavy torrential rain, whatever it may be, feeling more planted and really being connected with the road a little bit more and reducing that body sway is really gonna just make a better overall driving experience every time you use it. And that's the great part about these is once they're installed, there's no maintenance. They're already ready to go, and these are super easy to get in place. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing these SumoSprings rear helper Springs on a 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500. Adding suspension enhancements to any Sprinter, whether it be an RV or a cargo Sprinter, is gonna be a huge upgrade. I've driven a Sprinter plenty of times out on the road and it feels very top heavy whether you're turning or just getting side gusts. Either way, there's a lot of sway and if you can minimize that, it's just gonna make for a better driving experience. You're gonna get better feel in the steering wheel, better braking, and just overall a better ride for you and either the people riding with you or the components of your vehicle inside of there. Also, adding some suspension enhancement is gonna prolong the lifespan of the suspension that's on there from the factory because it's not allowing it to sag all the way down and kind of at a range where that suspension can't do the work. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Mercedes and overall it's a very clean look and that's because it's a hidden cross tube, meaning the only thing that you're gonna see is the functional part of the hitch here where you're gonna be loading things up so you get a nice clean look and all the usability of your hitch. Now this one is a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna be great for a number of different accessories. It's kind of the standard size. So when choosing ball mounts, bike racks, or cargo carriers, you're gonna have tons of options. Now all of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. more

Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver Installation - 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Stealth Hitch Hidden Rack Receiver on the 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK Class. Now this is what your receiver's gonna look like when it's installed on the vehicle and you may say, "well, that sticks out pretty far, it's pretty unsightly," but it is a 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, which is gonna be great. The great part about this though is being a Stealth Hitch, when you wanna maintain that nice clean look of your Mercedes, you can simply unlock this top and with the twist of this handle, we can drop our receiver out and take our key with us and that's gonna give us a nice clean, hidden look when we're not using our receiver. Now I did mention that this is a 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, which is really nice. It's kind of the standard when it comes to a lot of different accessories, whether it be a bike rack or cargo carrier. And those are all gonna stay in place with a 5/8" pin clip. more

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs Installation - 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500- Video
Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Sumo Springs Solo Custom Rear Helper Springs on a 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500. We've installed this on a RV style sprinter chassis, but I've driven a Sprinter as a delivery vehicle for a little bit, and it all shares the same sway issues. So adding these to either a cargo van or an RV is gonna be a great option, and it's gonna work all the same. Now taking a look at the factory jounce bumper compared to our Sumo Spring, you can clearly see the difference. And this is where that sway control really comes into play because as we're leaning on our vehicle, this takes a while to engage, hit the axle, and then kind of fight against it. more

This is Draw-Tite Class III Receiver Hitch that we installed on our 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300. Now if we take a close look at the hitch, you're gonna see that this has a gloss black power coat finish on here from Draw-Tite and this is a hidden cross tube style. The only part of the receiver that you're gonna see is just the receiver tube opening right here. The rest of it's tucked up underneath, behind the bumper. more

Curt 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector Installation - 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Curt Universal Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300. Now right out the gate, I will recommend potentially picking up a different kit and reason being is this doesn't come with all of the parts that you need. You will need to pick up a fuse holder, a fuse, butt connectors, as well as ring terminals and a power wire to get this one to work. And that's because this kit does not include all of that, but there is a universal kit that does encompass all of that, allowing you to get your install done with that one package. Now I will point out, if your vehicle is the premium or premier package, the universal kit is gonna be the only one that works with this. But if you don't have that package, you're actually in luck. more

Now, the Avail is definitely one of the heavier duty tow bars out there on the market, because it's rated at 10,000 pounds. That means if you ever plan on moving up to a larger towed vehicle, this should be able to handle that. One of the main things that I always recommend to people when choosing a tow bar is get a non-binding tow bar. And what that simply means is, when you start towing your vehicle, the arms are gonna draw out and lock in place. more

Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack Installation - 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLE- Video
How's it going, everyone It's Ethan from etrailer here today with a look at the Rhino Rack Roof Rack System on our 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLE. This roof rack system features crossbars that are 49 inches in length and use a raised rack tower. So this rack here will hold up to 165 pounds and can hold most of your accessories that you're gonna need, including kayaks, roof boxes and roof baskets. We're gonna go ahead and measure our overhang. Like I said before, the crossbars themselves are 49 inches, but we're gonna measure the distance that it's gonna hang over your car. For the front, we're looking at just about two inches on the nose. more

Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow Trailer Connector Installation - 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500- Video
Hola neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look and installing the Hopkins 7-way as well 5-flat and 4-flat trailer wiring connector on a 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500. Now, this is a great option to upgrade from your previous 7-pole, not only because you can get a nice plug that goes up 180 degrees, which this one, being in an angle, makes it a lot easier to get our plug in, whereas our previous one, you can see it doesn't quite open up as much, so you're kinda at a downward angle, it's hard to see if it's actually attached. And this one also has two handles here to make it easy, but the great part too is you're no longer stuck with just a 7-pole, you also have a 5-flat as well as a 4-flat down here, so you can still get those lighting functions, whether you're hooking up to your 7 or your 4-flat, and you can actually do both. So our neighbor here today is flat towing his vehicle, but he also has a bike rack that has lights on it, so he can plug his 4-pole in here, and it's gonna work on both of them. What's nice about this kit is it's going to be a pretty simple installation, because it comes with a bracket to mount up. Ours already had that, so we don't have to use it, but it also comes with the mounting hardware here, and it also comes with terminal grease, so you can get that dielectric protection on your plug. more

Hi there, Mercedes owners. Today in your 2017 Mercedes GLS 450, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Tekonsha ZCI 4-pole flat trailer connector wiring system. And this is what our harness looks like when it's installed. It is designed to live inside the vehicle. So when you use it, you'll simply pinch it between the lift gate here at the back and it will drape down and then you'll hook up to your trailer and head on your way. Our 4-pole connector here is gonna provide us with all of our necessary lighting signals, which includes our left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps, and brake lamps which will keep us DOT compliant in all states. more

Now this tow bar is going to be available in two different options and it's going to be identical except for the attachments, and you can pick between the Blue Ox style or the Roadmaster style, depending on your base plate. Now there's five main components when flat towing a vehicle that are going to be required and the first one, starting on the vehicle side, is going to be the base plate. And that's going to attach to the frame of the vehicle and become the attachment point for your tow bar to be able to pin up to it. And that leads us to our next one which is going to be the tow bar. Hi there Mercedes owners. Today in your 2021 Sprinter 3500, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install REDARC's Tow-Pro Elite trailer brake controller. To assist us with this install, we're also going to be using a plug-and-play harness from Tekonsha. We will still have to do a little bit of splicing but it's gonna make our world a whole lot easier. REDARC's Tow-Pro Elite is going to be a very hidden brake controller that's installed in our Mercedes here. That will allow us to have a very small footprint here in our dash that's gonna give us all the typical outputs that our regular brake controller was without that massive controller that would be hanging here. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the current trailer hitch receiver, here on our 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed on our vehicle here. Now it does have a hidden cross tube, meaning the cross tube is gonna be tucked up behind the bumper. So the only thing we actually can see is a receiver tube. This is gonna give us the best possible ground clearance, and it's gonna make for the best overall appearance, since the receiver tube is just tucked up behind the bumper here. Now our trailer hitch does have a black powder coated finish, which is gonna do a great job of helping protect the hitch from rust, being that it is on the outside of the vehicle. more

Hey, everybody. How's it going Today, we're going to be going over, and showing you how to install the Tekonsha ZCI trailer wiring harness here on our 2016 Mercedes Benz GLA. So our trailer wiring harness, simply put, is going to transfer the signals from our vehicle to our trailer, so we can let other motorists out on the road know what signals we're going to be making, allowing us to arrive to our destination safe and sound. A lot of the times in camping trailers are actually going to block the taillights on the vehicle, which is why you need a way to transfer these signals. It's also a legal requirement in every state. So this kit here comes with a four way flat trailer connector, also referred to as a four pole trailer connector. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer. And today, I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Voyager PWM filter here on our 2020 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500. As most Mercedes-Benz Sprinters or Mercedes cab and chassis RVers know, there's an issue with the wiring coming from our cab and chassis up to our camera system, not allowing enough power for the actual camera to send a signal over to our monitor. So, the fix for this is the Voyager PWM filter, which is going to send a steady current up to our camera, so that we can always make sure that we have our signal. So, the power coming through your vehicle's wiring is actually giving either a pulsing power to the camera or is just not providing that strong enough current as it is. So, that's where this comes in place. more

So this trailer wiring harness here is gonna be one of the required things we need to tow a trailer with our GLC. In addition to this, you're gonna need a trailer hitch and a ball mount/hitch ball, which we offer here at etrailer. So simply put, a trailer wiring harness is gonna transfer the signals from the vehicle to our trailer, so we can let other motorists out on the road know what signals we're gonna be making. Now I will say, with this system, we are gonna need quite a few additional parts in order to get it installed. You'll probably wanna pick up a set of butt connectors. You'll need some ring terminals. You're gonna need quite a bit of wire. more

So here, we have it installed and it looks great. It's functioning wonderfully. Hi there, Mercedes owners. Today, on your 2020 Mercedes Sprinter 2500, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's rear sway bar. Now, before we install our sway bar, we're gonna go ahead and hit our test course here just to get a baseline of how our suspension feels, so we can measure how much improvement we made. So first, we're gonna go on to our bumps course here, and we're gonna hit our uneven bumps section. And this is gonna simulate like hitting a pothole or pulling out of your driveway, things like that. It kinda gets us rocking back and forth. more

Curt 2 Electric Bike Rack Review - 2021 Mercedes Benz GLC- Video
What's up everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Hitch-Mounted Bike Rack on our 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300. So this is gonna be kind of a premium style rack, and it is going to be rated for electric bikes. So if they're under 65 pounds without the battery, of course, we're gonna be able to use it with two electric bikes. So if you have som electric bikes, if you have a Fat Tire electric bike, the wheel cradles are gonna be able to accommodate for 4" of tire widths. And then we do have a wheel hook, which is going to accommodate any wheel diameter from 20" all the way to 29". more
