Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Hyundai Ioniq

Hi there, Hyundai owners. Today in your 2018 Hyundai Ionic, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Draw-Tite's 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver. Now this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You can see a little bit of the cross tube here at the bottom, but it's tucked up very well underneath of it, and so was our receiver. So really most of this, you almost don't even notice that it's even there. It's a Class I, 1-1/4 by 1-1/4 inch receiver. So it's going to be great for all light duty applications, and any accessories that you want to put in there. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Hyundai Ioniq

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2019 Hyundai Ioniq, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Trailer Hitch receiver. So this hitch is going to be a great way to allow you to carry your hitch mounted accessories, like a bike rack, or even a cargo carrier, for example. And it's going to look pretty good on the back of the Ioniq too. It's really going to blend in and not really affect the appearance.Compared to the other hitch, I do like the look of this one a little bit better, especially the reinforced collar. It just looks a little more put together, in my opinion. more

Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2018 Hyundai Ioniq- Video

Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2018 Hyundai Ioniq

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Hyundai Ioniq, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima roof rack system. Today we're using the Yakima Jetstream Crossbars. We're also using the Baseline Towers for Yakima Crossbars, these come in a quantity of four. We also have the Base Clip Fit Kit for the Yakima Baseline roof rack. One thing that you'll notice with the Jetstream Bars from Yakima is that they're an aerodynamic shape. So it's kind of similar to an airplane wing, where the wind's going to come up and around and deflect away. more

Yakima Ski and Snowboard Racks Review - 2018 Hyundai Ioniq

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Hyundai IONIQ, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima FreshTrack Ski and Snowboard Carrier. Now, this can also double as a fishing pole carrier in the summer when you're not skiing or snowboarding. The nice thing about this is that it does come with the locks already installed, so you don't have to pick up anything extra. As you can see now, we just have to press down a little bit to release the pressure and then it'll open right up. With the key, put that in place, lock it down, it comes forward. Now, we can't open it. No one can take all our skis. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Hyundai Ioniq

Speaker 1: Today on this 2018 Hyundai Ionic we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class One trailer hitch receiver, part number C11486. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. Now what's great about this hitch is that it's completely hidden behind our rear fascia. The only part that you see hanging down is the 1 1/4 receiver opening itself. One nice feature about it as well is that it's tucked up behind our fascia so when we're loading cargo into our hatch area we don't have to worry about running our legs into the receiver. One the side of our receiver you'll find our industry standard 1/2 inch diameter hitch-pin hole to secure any of your hitch mounted accessories with a separate pin and clip.We have those available on our website. Now when you're using the hitch for a non-towing applications Curt recommends that you use a stabilization strap to help support the load. more

A few things about this ski and snowboard carrier is the oversized buttons that are gonna make it easy to open it when you have mittens or gloves on in the winter and there's also the integrated lock that comes with the system. So it's really nice that you don't have to pick anything up extra to get that secured down. more

Yakima Roof Bike Racks Review - 2018 hyundai ioniq

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Hyundai Ionic, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima HighRoad roof-top mounted bike rack. This is part number Y02114. The first thing you will notice about this is that it's a wheel-mounted bike rack, so that means that it's going to hold our bike by its front wheel. This is nice because we don't have to take that front wheel off, and it's also going to eliminate the need for any bike frame contact because it's just going to clamp around that wheel. To get that in place, we've got this torque knob here. Once it's tight, it's just going to click and stop tightening, and then you'll know that you have it tightened down all the way.We also have our wheel strap at the back to go around that rear wheel to secure that down. more
