Today on our 2005 Chevy Cavalier we will be installing the Rain-X Weatherbeater wiper blade part number RX30222 in the 22 inch, and part number RX30217 in the 17 inch. With the Rain-X Weatherbeater wiper blade your visibility will be maximized with its multi-pressure points to help the blade conform to your windshield for a clean wipe every time. To begin with we will start on the driver side. You will need to remove the old wiper blade off the wiper arm. To remove the old wiper blade you'll squeeze the clip at the center, pulling down, removing it from the wiper arm. To install the new one you will slide the new wiper blade over the wiper arm. In this case there is a J hook. Once you slide the new wiper blade onto the arm pull it till it locks into place. more

Today on our 2005 Chevy Cavalier, we'll be installing the Curt 4 pole flat trailer connector, part number C58044. To begin with, you will need to open the trunk of the vehicle. Next, you'll go ahead and locate, on the driver's and the passenger's side, there'll be one plastic nut that will help hold the carpet in place. You'll need to remove this nut from both sides. Once you pull back the carpet, it'll go ahead and expose the wires that we'll be connecting to. Next, we'll go ahead and take the trunk threshold off too. more

Well go ahead and give you a couple measurements in helping you select a few accessories for your hitch such ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the edge of the bumper is approximately 8 inches, and from the top of the hitch opening to the ground is approximately 10-1/2 inches. Now, were ready to go ahead and install our hitch. Well begin by removing the exhaust bracket that goes around the muffler.Next, we will move a little farther forward and locate the next exhaust hanger. more

Today on our 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier, we'll be installing the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number PW1034. To begin this, we will go ahead and lay out the tire chain. Next, we'll go ahead and lay the tire chain over the top of the tire making sure that the way the hooks come around that the smooth part is towards the tire. Once we have the tire chain centered upon the tire, we will go ahead and roll forward just a little bit to allow the tire chain to go under the tire and give us some slack on the back side. Now that we have that done, we'll go ahead and go behind the tire where we will take the end of the cable. Go through the connector, pulling it down to where it is tight, keeping in mind that you want to make sure that the back of the cable is centered on the tire. more

Today on our 2003 Chevy Cavalier well be installing the Draw Tite four pole wiring kit, part number 18252. First well need to remove the carpeting behind each of the taillights. To do this well remove the fastener behind each taillight and then we can pull the carpeting back. As you can see we can now access the wiring behind the taillight assembly. Note for this application it already has an aftermarket wiring setup to be towed behind an RV. However, it will not change how we make the connection with a new four pole wire, connecting to the wires on the manufacturers side of the wiring. more

Today in this 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier, we're going to install part number 38955. We're going to start off by taking our wire harness and we're going to tape off the end of it a little ways back, to leave room for our wire inaudible to the ground. And then we tape up the rest of the wire in short sections, if you're going to run this towards the back. And we'll fit our wiring from the front through the grill, and we'll tie if off to a bracket right here, then we'll continue on running our wires through the back. Alright, one quick note about the connector is that it's basically a trailer and connector with a four pinned flap. So you may have to double check your tow bar and see what wiring it needs--it maybe the opposite. more

Fasteners is in the back side of this piece and we can just pull straight out. We're going to move this screw on the driver side and repeat the same thing on the passenger side. Next we're going to move, three fasteners, one, two, three inside the fender well. more

Alright, today on this 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier, were gonna install part number 18252 which is our 4-Pole wire harness.This wire harness has to be hardwired into the car and to do that we have to get access to the wiring, which will be on the inside of the trunk. And well have to access both tail lights. Were gonna undo our tie down right here and pull back the carpet and these are the wires that well be attaching to. The yellow will be our left turn, brown will be our running light and then well use the sheet metal here for our ground. Lets go ahead and install our ground first.To wire our harness were gonna had a small ring terminal and use a self-tacking screw to go into our sheet metal. Well double check our wirings. more

Now Ill go ahead show you how the hitch is installed.First thing we need to do is go ahead and lower the exhaust to have some workroom. This clamp around the exhaust here, which is bolted on either side that we have to remove and well spray it down with some lubricant to make it a little easier to undo. more

Now, the car has already been outfitted with a Thule Roof Rack System with the square bars. We're also going to start our bike rack assembled according to instructions. So we can go straight to mounting the bicycle rack to the crossbars. We'll start off by taking the front clamp, put in the crossbar, then we'll slide our second clamp in position and around the second crossbar. more
