Now, this will be a great option for anyone who's looking for something that's gonna be relatively pretty low profile, giving you more of a sleek design overall, and it's gonna offer you that extra protection still, since this is a hard cover. Like I just said, this is a pretty tough tonneau cover. (knuckles knocking) As you can hear, it is pretty sturdy. It's gonna have a weight capacity up to 450 pounds, so that's gonna be great if you do need to put some things on top of here, great if maybe you walking by, you need to throw your tool bag up somewhere, you have that option, or your groceries, too. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Pace Edwards JackRabbit Full-Metal Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover with the Explorer Series Rails on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. So, the first thing to note is that this is a retractable canister-style cover, and you'll see that canister in just a second. But the benefits to that (knocks) that hard cover is that it's gonna be a lot more secure. And if you're the type of person that keeps tools or something valuable in your truck bed full time, I always recommend a hard cover because that's gonna be the most theft resistant. So if your truck has airbags on it, a compressor kit is gonna be a great addition to add. That way you can control the amount of pressure in your bags very easily, you know, more or less on the fly, but without having to get the air hose out and fill 'em up manually, so on and so forth. Hey everyone, it's Evangeline and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Titan Chain Diamond HD snow tire chains and I'll also show you how to install them here on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. These tire chains are gonna be the heavy duty version of the Titan Chain diamond alloy snow chains. So that means they're gonna have larger links for more traction, which is awesome, except you do have to be very careful about which type of tire and wheel you have on your Silverado 2500 because there are brake components and suspension components back there that may not give you much clearance to work with. So double check yours. Our tire size today is 275/65 R20, which is the one with limited clearance, but it also depends on the truck. So if you have a different tire size, you may have better chances with those. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline, and today we're gonna be taking a look at how to install as well as discuss the different features of this Titan Chain Diamond Snow Tire Chains. We're gonna see how it fits here on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. This is probably gonna be one of my favorite chains to recommend because it's very easy to install, as well as it has some solid features there that give you great traction in snowy conditions. Now, double check your tire size though, on your Silverado, just because we have higher size 275/65R20, and according to the owner's manual, this has limited wheel clearance, behind the tire, so you do have to get or be very intentional about what type of traction devices you use. If you do have to use tire chains, install them on that rear axle, these are gonna be very small chain sizes, which is why I feel a bit more comfortable with recommending them. But also for emergency situations, some places require that you have chains in your truck and these are gonna be very fast to put on, which is why I also recommend them. more

Three quarter-ton trucks like we have here today do a really good job of towing. And our neighbor today, he has a very nice truck that he has, a B&W Companion Fifth Wheel. Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with S20 Slider Review - 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Hey guys, this is Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Chevy Silverado 2,500 and we're gonna be taking a look at, I'm gonna go over a few details of the Curt S20 sliding base combined with the Curt A20 fifth wheel hitch. Now when we go over all these features of this combo there is also a Curt A16 head that is available that fits just like it does in here. Everything on the head itself is going to be the same except the weight capacity is gonna be a little bit lighter. This head is gonna have a 20,000 pound capacity and the A16 is going to have a 16,000 pound capacity. And one of the biggest downfalls of hauling a fifth wheel trailer in a regular bed truck, this is a six foot eight bed truck and one of the downfalls is that you don't have enough room to turn because the nose of your camper will make contact with the cab of your truck. more

Today we have a 2023 Chevy Silverado 2,500 and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you some of the features of this BMW Patriot fifth wheel sliding hitch. Now right off the bat, what's gonna make this hitch fit perfectly in this truck is the fact that our truck is a six and three quarter foot bed. So, if you have a standard fifth wheel, those are typically gonna be best used in an eight foot bed, cuz you'll have more than enough cab clearance. That foot and a quarter extra that you get from an eight foot bed really helps to get you some cab clearance. Well, essentially that's what we're doing with this sliding hitch. more

Now, one of the biggest reasons why you would install this kit in the bed of your truck is, first off, you want to tow a fifth wheel trailer but you have a fifth wheel that installs in industry-standard rails. And that's what these are gonna be. They're industry-standard rails. They'll have three different widths of slots that you can slide your fifth wheel down into. more

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs Installation - 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at installing these SumoSprings solo custom helper springs for the rear axle on a 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500. Now, these have a 1500 pound capacity, and that's not necessarily going to add capacity to your truck, it's kind of what they're rated for as far as what weight you'll be using. So, if you have a payload in the back of the truck that's about 1500, that's gonna be perfect. Or if you have a fifth wheel or a trailer that puts a decent amount of tongue weight on your truck, this is gonna help regardless. And really, the great part about these is they engage quicker than your factory jounce bumpers and they're also progressive. more

Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Draw-Tite Front hitch receiver on a 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500. Now your front hitch is gonna be a two inch by two inch, which means that there's gonna be plenty of options available as far as either putting a ball mount, a winch, a cargo carrier, or a bike rack. Now all of these accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now this is not included with the front hitch, but a lot of times your accessories will come with one. Now if you want to pick up an extra or a locking one, we have those available here at etrailer, and that way you can leave your accessories loaded on, locked in place, and no one can walk away with them. No matter what accessory you're gonna be loading up, you do want to adhere to the weight capacities and if you're using a winch, this does have a line pull of 9,000 pounds, but all of your cargo weight or anything that's gonna be supported on your front hitch like your cargo carriers, or bike racks, or winches, are going to have a 500 pound capacity. more

Kuat Piston SR Roof 1 Bike Rack Review - 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Piston SR Single Bike Rack and how it fits on a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. We have ours on the bed ladder rack in our case, we see it on roof racks sometimes, but we see it on a lot of ladder racks too. So if you're interested in using it in this way, we'll show you how it works. The Piston is a single bike platform-style bike rack capable of supporting one bike up to 67 pounds and held primarily with this dual wheel mount design, so there's no frame contact. As you can see, we have our carbon frame bike on in our case and I'm not gonna be worried about any damages it's gonna take while it's traveling, 'cause there's no contact to the frame bike. more

Putting a gooseneck in your truck will really make it a lot more versatile in terms of what you're gonna be able to do with it, and with this setup, I like the simplicity of it. Hey, everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Curt Custom Fit In-Bed Wiring Harness. Before we get into that though, let's take a minute to check this out and make sure it's gonna work for you. So you end up setting up your truck with a gooseneck or 5th wheel type trailer hitch, the last thing you wanna do whenever you're hooked up to that trailer is have to drape your wiring over your tailgate to be able to plug into your bumper plug, and so, a kit like this is going to eliminate that problem. Having it in-bed will allow you to take, you know, your 5th wheel or gooseneck's trailer wiring and plug it right in there. It's just the right way to do things, a lot more convenient, a lot cleaner, and you don't run the risk of your wiring coming disconnected. more

Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at these WeatherTech auto second-row floor mats and how they fit on a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. Mats like these can be really useful depending on your situation, whether you maybe just have kids in the back that are always tracking in mud, sand, dirt, snow, or water, anything like that. In any case, if they're spill prone, or sand, again, just getting everywhere, these are going to help funnel all of that dirt, debris, and water into a place where you can just pop 'em out, dump 'em off, rinse 'em off, put 'em back in. Maybe compared to like some carpet mats or something like that that are gonna stain and hold that, these are gonna be a good way to get that out of play. WeatherTech HP Front Floor Mats Review - 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats, and how they fit on our 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. These are the cocoa version. These are just what we had available to us at the shop, but there is a black version as well if you want to fit your interior a little bit better. If you are in an area that maybe gets a decent amount of weather like rain and snow and you don't wanna track that into your vehicle, maybe you work a job like construction or something where you're tracking sand and mud in pretty frequently and you don't feel like getting that out all the time, these mats might be a good option for you. They're made of a rubberized thermoplastic so they're gonna hold up well to wear and tear, as well as the fact that how they're designed, especially having these high walls are gonna focus all that liquid and debris down into an area where it's not gonna be sliding around while you're driving. more
