Now the GX is a pretty large vehicle, pretty tall up off the ground, especially if you choose to put some larger tires on it. So a roof box will be adding some height to the vehicle, but it will also expand your storage space. A lot of people like to build this out into a camping rig where you can take it off road, get to some more remote locations. more

Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack Review - 2023 Lexus UX 250h- Video
How's it going neighbors, this is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination E-bike carrier on our 2023 Lexus UX 250 H. The Destination E is a good rack, in my opinion, just based on the fact that it has a solid weight rating right at 70 pounds and you have a frame mounted system, so you're gonna have two points of contact on your front wheel right here and here for your strap and one single bar that's holding you in the center. And that is adjustable for varying styles of frame, so that makes it a lot more flexible, and then you just have the single strap on the rear. Frame mounted bikes generally are gonna work better if you don't mind contact to the frame of your bike. If you have a carbon fiber frame or unconventional like a step through, you may want to look at some other options. To tilt the Destination E, we're gonna take the gray knob, and twist it and pull it down. more

Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Lexus UX 250h- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT two inch trailer hitch receiver on a 2023 Lexus UX 250h. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it is an exposed cross tube, but it sits pretty nicely. You can see a good portion of the hitch and it does go around the exhaust pipe. But overall, the way that the car sits, unless you're looking directly at it, it's really gonna be hard to see because you have this nice diffuser that keeps it nice and tidy. So really the only thing super visible is gonna be the two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and that's really nice for a hitch normally with this class rating, you're kind of limited with an 1 1/4, but to be able to have a two inch hitch is awesome. That means that you're gonna have a lot of options when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or even a ball mount. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2018 Lexus GX 460. Now, this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Lexus. And this is a pretty simple one. It just simply bolts up directly to weld nuts that are there, which is great, and that allows our 2-inch-by-2-inch receiver tube opening to be in a nice spot. You don't have to trim any of the fascia to get this in place. And being the standard 2-inch-by-2-inch size means that you're gonna have a ton of accessories to be able to choose and load up. more

And then this is a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is kind of the standard size for a lot of your accessories. So when it comes to choosing ball mounts, bike racks, or cargo carriers, you're gonna have tons of options. Now all of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2021 Lexus RX 350- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Tekonsha four-pole trailer wiring harness on a 2021 Lexus RX 350. I highly recommend adding four-pole trailer wiring, or a seven-pole, depending on the trailer you're gonna tow when putting a hitch on a vehicle and you may not end up having to use it, but having it there in case you ever do have to pull a trailer, whether renting equipment or getting a U-Haul or anything, it's nice to have that in place and that's gonna keep you safe and legal because it transmits the light sequence from your factory, turn signals, brake lights and running lights to the trailer and that's gonna keep you safe and legal by letting people know what you're intending to do and this one's super easy. There's two different parts of the wiring harness that plug in inside the vehicle and then there's one that's underneath and this is definitely able to be done in your garage or driveway, I would say in about 10 minutes. This is a very easy one to do so a nice addition to adding a hitch to your vehicle. Now to begin our installation, we're gonna grab this portion of our new wiring harness and this is gonna plug in inside the vehicle. We do need to remove a few small panels to gain access to our plug. more

Our trailer hitch receiver today is gonna be an industry standard two inch by two inch receiver opening, which is gonna give you the widest range of accessories to choose from, be it cargo carriers, bike racks, or ball mounts for towing a trailer. The hitch receiver's gonna have an industry standard 5/8 inch hitch pin hole. Now, it does not come with a hitch pin but we have plenty of options here at etrailer.com including some locking ones that I highly recommend checking out if you want to make sure that whatever you put in here stays in here. Our weight capacities for this trailer hitch are gonna be a 4,000 pound gross trailer weight rating which is the weight of your trailer you're towing, and all the accessories or cargo loaded onto it. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2021 Lexus NX 300- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt trailer hitch receiver here on a 2021 Lexus NX 300. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed. Now, thankfully, most of it is gonna be hidden behind our bumper here underneath the vehicle. It's also gonna all have a powder coated finish which is gonna be black. And what this does is it does a great job of not only helping it blend in with the underbody panels on our vehicle, it's also gonna help protect the hitch from rust and corrosion. Again, being that it's underside of the vehicle and it's much more subjected to the elements. more

RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Lexus RX 350- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at the RockyMounts GuideRail 2-Bike Platform-Style Bike Rack here on our 2021 Lexus RX 350. Now, with this style of platform rack, you're gonna be holding the bike by the tires here on either end. This is really nice because it's gonna make it accept a really wide variety of bikes. We've got our mountain bike on here today and it fits perfectly fine, but any sort of alternative frame bike, where you might not be able to get a hook on the frame or anything like that, or maybe a carbon frame bike where you don't wanna damage it, it's gonna work great on this, because, again, our point of contact is the tire right here on either side. Now, in addition to that, you get these adjustment points on the wheel cradles. So you can adjust this bolt right here down to fit a smaller size wheel. more

So as you can see, this is how it looks installed on the Lexus. You do have the exposed cross tube here. So it is visible, but you do have your inch and a quarter receiver here allowing you to hook up and tow, possibly some accessories that you may have. The hitch is steel construction, so, you know it's strong and durable. more

Hi there, Lexus owners! Today, in your 2018 Lexus RX350, we're gonna be taking look at and showin' ya how to install Tekonsha's 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness. And this is what our wiring harness looks like when it's installed. It does live outside the vehicle, and you can store it onto your hitch with the included dust cap by wrapping it around your safety chain loop. We do also have brackets available here at etrailer, so you can permanently mount it up in one of those brackets as well if you'd like. A 4-pole flat trailer connector here, provides you with all of your necessary lighting signals. Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2010 Lexus IS 250C, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CURT trailer hitch receiver. So if it we're me and I was looking for a hitch to put on the back of my Lexus, probably the first thing that would come to my mind is how's it gonna look These are really sporty looking and you wouldn't want big hitch to take away from the appearance of the IS 250. With that said, even though this one is completely visible, it's gonna blend in pretty well, actually. It sits further back and it's nice and tight up against the bottom of our vehicle. So when this is on the ground and you're staring at it from behind, you're hardly even gonna notice it's there. more
