The Okanagan is a wheel-mounted bike carrier, so that means that your bike is secured using a front hook and a rear strap without making any frame contact. So if you have a carbon fiber bike, a step through bike, or just a nice paint job where you didn't want any contact, this is gonna be one of the better options available for you. A cool feature is the fact that you do have a awesome foot pedal release tilt feature that's gonna allow you to tilt your carrier down while you're loaded and access your cargo area. So it is a really good tilt and it gives you plenty of space to get to the back of your Murano. You just definitely wanna make sure that you are cautious because that weight, once that latch is released, it's just gonna come right down and then just to lift 'er back up, it just clicks right back into place. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Thule T2 XTR Bike Carrier on our 2021 Nissan Murano. The T2 XTR is a wheel-mounted bike carrier, so what that's gonna do for you, it's gonna secure your bike to the back of your vehicle by making contact with your front and rear wheel. It doesn't have any contact with your top tube. So if you have a unconventional frame or a carbon fiber frame bike, this is gonna be a great option to secure your bike without making any contact. On the back of our vehicle, it doesn't take up very much space and it gives you a lot of flexibility. Using the handle here, (mechanism clicking) we're able to tilt our carrier and access our cargo area pretty easily. more

The XTC2 TILT is a bike carrier that's frame mounted, so it's going to make contact with the top tube of your bike. If you have a carbon fiber bike or unconventional frame, it may not be the best option for you. A wheel mounted carrier may be better, but if you're not overly concerned with that contact to your frame, this is gonna be one of the better ways to transport your bike, as far as being cost effective. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2023 Nissan Murano. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it is an exposed cross tube, meaning you are gonna see a good majority of the hitch hanging down below the vehicle, but overall it's not a terrible look. You have a nice gloss black powder coat finish, which is gonna hold up long term. Now this is also a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna be kind of the standard when it comes to choosing accessories. So it's really nice that you have that because when it comes to cargo carriers, bike racks, ball mounts, anything you may put in your hitch, you're gonna have tons of options. Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2021 Nissan Murano- Video
How's it going This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at our Titan Chain snow chains on our 2021 Nissan Murano. On this guy we have a P235/65R18 tire, so it's already confirmed to fit that 21 OEM tire. So let's go ahead and get started with our installation. So as far as with tire chains, in most cases when you're using it, it's gonna be icy, wet, cold, just conditions that aren't ideal. So it'd be a great idea to actually test fit your chains before you're going to need them. You're gonna make sure you take the solid braided cable and separate this open space in here. more

Yakima RidgeBack 4 Bike Rack Review - 2021 Nissan Murano- Video
How's it going today This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Yakima Ridgeback four-bike carrier on the 2021 Nissan Murano. The Ridgeback is a four-bike carrier, also available in a five. As far as the four-bike configuration, that's gonna rate 40 pounds per bike. As far as the type of person this bike carrier would work for, it's gonna be someone that's not particularly worried about contact with the frame, 'cause that's how it's suspended. As far as on the rear of the vehicle, you can see that it's gonna obstruct basically everything as far as your tail lights, license plate, backup camera, and a portion of your back window. So, something to keep in mind. more

Flint Hill Goods Cargo Carrier Review - 2021 Nissan Murano- Video
How's it going This is Ed here with etrailer.com and right now, we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier, on the back of our 21 Nissan Murano. 60 inches wide, 22 inches long, constructed of aluminum, giving you real solid contact tie-down points on the top and sides of your carrier. One thing to consider for this guy is that it will obstruct your taillights. Well, not your taillights, it'll obstruct your backup sensors and you're gonna see a portion of it in your backup camera. But that is a good thing 'cause it gives you a good idea as far as where your cargo carrier is in relation to the rear of your vehicle. So, and this guy right here, these are gonna be the contact points that you're gonna make 'cause that's the sturdier part of the carrier. more

Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack Review - 2021 Nissan Murano- Video
How you doing This is Ed here at etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Carrier on the 2021 Nissan Murano. Now the Destination is a solid bike carrier for your E-bikes, that weigh up to 70 pounds each. As far as your contacts, you have on the rear wheel, a single strap, the front wheel, you have two straps, and a center mast clamp that makes contact with the frame. If you have a carbon fiber bike or something with a special paint job, you definitely don't wanna go with something that's gonna make this kind of contact, however, we do offer cradle mount options. So as far as clearance on the rear of the vehicle in the upright position, the bike carrier will affect your backup sensors as well as your backup camera and license plate. It looks like the tires also will be obscured, you know, well, no, it looks pretty good as far as clearing the back of your tail lights, but depending on your bike, you may still have interference as far as seeing from your handlebar, so that will vary from your style bike. more

Swagman XC2 2 Bike Rack Review - 2021 Nissan Murano- Video
How's it going This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Swagman XC2 Two Bike Carrier on the 21 Nissan Murano. Now, this guy is constructed of powder coated field, and also has a padded hook. On the bottom you're gonna have adjustable wheel loops, so it's gonna accommodate different wheel bases. Now, with this guy being rated at 35 pounds per bike, it wouldn't be the best option if you have a heavier bike like an e-bike. But if you have a road bike or mountain bike, that would be great for it. Also to consider is, if you have a carbon fiber bike or something with a nice paint job, the way that the bike is secured is making contact with the frame. more

RockyMounts MonoRail 2 Bike Rack Review - 2021 Nissan Murano- Video
Hi, this is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're gonna take a look at the RockyMounts MonoRail on the 2021 Nissan Murano. On the MonoRail, this is actually a wheel mount bike carrier, so you're only gonna have two points of contact on the bike. It's gonna have the front wheel and the rear wheel in this cradle here. So if you have a bike frame that's carbon fiber or something that's has a fancier paint job, you know, this is gonna be one of the better options for that. Alright, one of the really cool features about this guy is the tilting feature. Down here you're gonna have a blue handle that's gonna allow you to lower the MonoRail down so you can access your hatch. more
