How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the INNO Rod Box 8 Pole Carrier on our 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. So adding a rooftop box for your fishing rods, that's gonna lean more so into a person that's a more serious angler that's hitting the different waters that are getting out on the road where they're outside of the area and they may be parking at a lodge or a motel where they're not familiar. So it's a way to keep their rides secure when they're out on the road. Now, what the INNO does for you that's different from a lot of the other carriers, you have the ability to have three different sizes of small, medium, and large to adjust to your specific category. So as it is right now, I have it installed in the longest, the nine foot configuration to see how much space it takes on top of the Bronco Sport. But just keep that in mind through this process. more

Now before we jump into too many of the details about these airbags, let's go ahead and look at some before footage of hooking up a dump trailer to the back of our truck to see what that trailer does to this truck. You can obviously see we have a lift on our truck here, so the suspension in the back is quite a bit softer. They are adjustable shocks, but they have them adjusted softer so that it's a more comfortable ride. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Thule Vault 2 rod holder on our 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. So essentially, what the Vault is gonna do for you, it's aimed at the person that's a lot more serious, that has a more premium reel and rod set up that's gonna be maxing out at 10 feet. In general, the type of unit this is gonna work for is the person that's gonna make those trips to hit different types of bodies of water, and they're not necessarily gonna be in a place where they want to unpack their rod everywhere. The Vault, as the name implies, is gonna keep your rod nice and safe. The Vault is constructed of a polymer and aluminum that's gonna give you corrosion resistance, as well as security and reliability as you're going out on the road. As you can see, it's a pretty long device going along the top of our vehicle, extending over the hood, so you wanna keep that in mind as far as the space that it's taking up. more

Adding a rooftop rod carrier is gonna be pretty much the best way that you're gonna get multiple fishing rods out on the road with you in the Bronco Sport. Being that you own this Bronco Sport, you're aware that the cargo area isn't the largest with it, and that's just kind of not the niche for it. So you get to take advantage of this negative space on top of your vehicle to carry your rods out for your adventure. The TopWater will require that you have a roof rack system. Right now, I have it installed on top of the Yakima CoreBar, but it will work with just about any style roof rack. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this CURT E16 fifth wheel hitch kit, and we're gonna see how it fits on our 2022 Ford F-450 with the factory towing prep package. Now I say kit because obviously this comes with the E16 fifth wheel hitch, but it's also going to come with these adapter rails that allow your industry standard rail fitting fifth wheel to attach to that factory towing prep package that might be present in your Ford F-450. It's essentially just an adapter that's included with this kit. Now it's worth mentioning that CURT does make a version of the E-Series fifth wheel hitch that it's time to go directly into that factory towing prep package. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at Konig, the Easy-fit tire chain on our 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. Now, the reason that you would add a traction device to the front of your Bronco Sport is because you're either in a situation where you're in low traction like ice, snow, mud, sand, or you're in a state where it's just required to have it in your vehicle. An item like the Easy-fit is special because it doesn't require you to get on the ground to install it and there's no connections behind the wheel. So it's gonna work really well for a person that may not necessarily wanna get on the ground or just maybe not be able to make those connections on the ground from behind the tire. So let's take a closer look at some of the features on the tire chain. With the clearance behind our wheel here, I can feel that it's not really making any contact with anything and you'll be able to move freely. more

How do the Konig K-Summit Tire Chains fit on a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport?- Video
How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the K-Summit Tire Chain System on our 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. As far as why you would want to add a traction device to your vehicle, it's gonna allow you to maintain control as you go down icy, snowy, or any other low traction situation, by giving more of a grip to the treads of your vehicle. What makes the K-Summit System different is the fact that it has zero contact behind the wheel well. It is kind of tight behind the Bronco and there is no connection points where you're actually having anything behind the wheel, and you don't actually get on the ground either in order to set it up like so many other tire chains. The system itself bolts onto the end of one of your lug nuts and you have a ratchet system that's gonna fasten down and automatically tighten it as you go down the road. It takes a little bit more setup to get going, but once you set it up, you can get it deployed pretty quickly. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Konig XB-16 tire chains on our 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. Now the reason that you're gonna wanna add tire chains to your Bronco Sport is it's gonna give you additional traction when you're out on the road and you're encountering ice, snow, sand, mud, anything that's gonna affect your traction. And these types of chains, like the diamond pattern, is what's gonna help you as you go down the road. In general, having something that's assisted tensioning is gonna allow you to get a lot of that slack out of the chain to keep it nice and tight so you can keep the chains where you need 'em right on top of your trail. Our chains are constructed of manganese nickel alloy, and essentially what that means for you is it's corrosion resistant and hardened. So it's gonna bite into the ice and give you really solid traction going down the road. more

All right, now with this kit, you're gonna receive two safety chain loops that are gonna be powder coated in a durable finish. You'll receive one gooseneck ball that's got a nice chrome finish to it. If you're looking for a rack that's gonna be really easy to load and unload and give you a pretty clean finish on the back of your 2022 Ford Bronco Sport with the Kuat Transfer V2 bike rack, it's gonna be a great option for you. Now this is gonna be able to carry up to 40 pound bikes, so we're gonna really stick with more of our standard style bikes. If you try to put some heavy e-bikes on here, most typically they're not gonna work with that 'cause I'll overload this. Now the one of the downsides with this rack is gonna be its tilt away. Hey guys, it's Jake here with Etrailer. Today we have a 2024 Ford F350 and we're gonna be taking a look at the Curt Gooseneck Ball Kit with safety chain loops for our OEM puck system. Right off the bat, I wanted to point out the plastic case. This may not seem like a whole lot, but it will come with the kit, I really like when they come with these because you can, when you're not using your Gooseneck kit, you can take your rubber cover that comes with it, stick it in your center hole there, and then you can put all the other components in the case and then take the case, close it up, and throw it in the back seat of your truck. This helps all your components to last a lot longer and to keep from rolling around in the back of your truck. When you're ready to use your Gooseneck, you'll simply take your Gooseneck roll, set it in place. more

This OEM puck system's gonna come with this nice handy carrying case, which may not seem like a whole lot, but when it comes to not using your gooseneck ball for the security of it, if you don't have a tonneau cover like we have here, you can simply pull out your kit, put it in this rotomolded case, and then stick it in the cab of your truck and not have to worry about any of these components rolling around in the back of your truck or in the backseat of your truck. To get it connected, all we have to do is simply set it in place, pull this little trigger here on this nice large handle, flip it down, and now it's locked into place. more

Installing the TorkLift Rear Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - 2012 Ford F-350 Super Duty- Video
Ian with etrailer here. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our Ford F-350 and these nice torque lift frame tie downs. So this rear set of tie downs is gonna be for our super hitch original here. It does just mount up directly to the hitch using those two rear bolts and then it does have a shank that's gonna slide into this main tube. It does have some adjustability, so if you've got a little wider camper, this does have a two set of settings that you can put the pin through. It is just this little retention pin here that's got the clip attached to it so that way that doesn't get lost. more

Hi, Matt with etrailer. If you're trying to get a little bit more storage out of your 2022 Ford Bronco Sport, then the Rhino-Rack Roof Basket is a great way to do that. That's gonna because we're gonna be taking up a lot of space on top of the roof, so you have a lot of free real estate to work with. That's gonna be really nice if you have any items that you don't mind lifting above your head and putting up there, anything like some extra luggage, some bags, anything around that realm. This will be a better alternative in my opinion to a hitch carrier for a few reasons, because with a hitch carrier, you're gonna be limited in which areas you can park then, because if you wanna have a larger carrier on the back of your vehicle, getting into those really tight parking spots is gonna be kind of difficult. Or if you are using your hitch for something else or if you don't even have a hitch, then this might be your only other option. more

If you're looking for a rack that's gonna be able to carry a variety of different types of bikes, including those really heavy e-bikes, then the Inno HD Tire Hold bike rack's gonna be a great choice for your 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. Now the reason why I say this is a great choice for those really heavy e-bikes is 'cause it's gonna have an 80 pound weight capacity, being able to carry two bikes and that will reflect in its tilt away. To really show you what I mean, if I just tilt this back some, you'll notice this doesn't go very far back at all. So when I go to use my hatch or try to open it, I won't be able to open it up very much. I just barely bypass my pedals and it's getting really close to my bike's frame. more

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer, if you're looking for a cargo carrier that can just get a little bit more space out of your 2022 Ford Bronco Sport, then the Flint Hill Goods steel hitch cargo carrier is gonna be a great option for you. Now, what's really nice about this is it's not adding too much space to the back of our vehicle, and in my opinion, it's in some cases a better option than a rooftop carrier. We have one installed today, just to show you what we're talking about. But where a hitch cargo carrier is really gonna surpass the rooftop carrier is if you have any items that have a lot of spillage to it and you don't want that getting into your vehicle, anything like mulch or concrete, then a hitch one's gonna be better than a rooftop because you don't want that coming off the top of your roof. And the second reason is if you have anything that's really big, bulky, or heavy, that's gonna be really difficult to get on top of your roof 'cause you have to lift it way above your head as opposed to something you're just lifting up to about your knees. How Does the Yakima CoreBar Crossbars Roof Rack Fit on a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport?- Video
How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima CoreBar and TimberLine towers on our 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. Adding crossbars to the top of your Bronco Sport is a great way to make sure that you get those bigger bulkier items on the road with you. As you know, owning a Bronco Sport, cargo space is kind of limited and this is gonna help you take advantage of that negative space on top of your vehicle. So taking a look with the TimberLine towers on our raised rails, we're about two and a half inches up. One thing to consider with the way that the CoreBar adapter kit mounts to the tower, you lose the space that's directly underneath it for clamp-on accessories 'cause it's just, you know, taken up by the the tower itself. One thing to also consider is you don't have a T track slot with it being a solid bar. more

How Does the Yakima JetStream Crossbars Roof Rack Fit - 2022 Ford Bronco Sport- Video
How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Yakima JetStream Bars and TimberLine Towers on our 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. As far as the bar itself, so this guy right here is right at three inches wide, and that's gonna work with most rooftop accessories. Real cool feature with this is the fact that you can use the T-track slot on the end cap, I mean in the bar here, and it actually has a rubber gasket built in there. So you don't have to trim anything to size, and it helps reduce the wind noise. Underneath, there is also a strip that you would add in and cut to size to fill in this gap, but with this just being a demonstration, I didn't trim that part for the demo. Going down to the TimberLine Towers, the way they secure everything to the vehicle is using this strap right here that is actually UV-protected to hold up against the elements and sunlight. more

Hi, Matt with etrailer. If you're looking for a way to get a little bit more space out of your 2022 Ford Bronco Sport and you need to carry some more maybe bulky, messy items or anything that you don't want getting inside your vehicle, then the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Hitch Cargo Carrier is gonna be a great choice. The reason why I think the aluminum version of this is gonna be a great choice is because the Bronco doesn't have a super high tongue weight. So you wanna make sure if you are gonna carry any gear, that the carrier isn't gonna take up too much of that weight. 'Cause this carrier is gonna be still pretty durable, it's gonna have a weight capacity of up to 500 pounds. And it's gonna have a decent amount of space to it. more

Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2022 Ford Bronco Sport- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX on our 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. Generally, when you're looking towards items like rooftop boxes, you're trying to solve the issue that I'm pretty sure you're aware of with the Bronco Sport, that limited cargo space. When you add a box like the SkyBox, it's gonna give you that additional cargo area by using negative space on top of your vehicle. The SkyBox NX is available in a 16 cubic foot box that we're looking at here. And if you need a larger box, the 18 cubic foot is available. However, on top of the Bronco Sport, the 16 cubic foot is gonna be the longest that'll fit without obstructing the tailgate. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2024 Ford Maverick and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Roadmaster Diode Wiring Kit for Flat Towing. Adding diodes to your Ford Maverick is gonna allow you to accurately transfer the lighting signals from the back of your motorhome to the back of your truck. You can think of this, the best example is if you're pulling a trailer behind your motorhome, you're gonna have to have lights because the contents on that trailer may block the lights on your motorhome. Same goes for your Ford Maverick. If somebody's following behind you on the highway, they're not gonna be able to see the taillights on your motorhome because your Ford Maverick is blocking them. more

Today, we have a 2024 Ford Maverick and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Demco Stay-in-Play Duo supplemental braking system. In addition to your supplemental braking system, you're gonna need four other main flat towing components in order to safely flat tow your Ford Maverick. One is going to be your tow bar, another one is going to be your diode wiring, your safety chains, and then your base plate. A supplemental braking system in your Ford Maverick is going to be designed to apply the brakes in the Maverick while you're flat towing it behind your motor home. Motor homes are not designed to stop a vehicle when it's stopping itself. more

Swagman Paramount Full-Size Trucks Tailgate Pad Review - 2016 Ford F-150- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here at etrailer, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman Paramount tailgate pad and we're gonna see how it fits on the back of our 2016 Ford F-150. So a tailgate pad is a great way for your truck to utilize the truck bed to hold your bikes. It's an excellent alternative to a hitch on bike rack because typically these tailgate pads are a lot less expensive, so a little bit more budget friendly, but they can hold more bikes and the paramount is no different. You can hold up to seven bikes here. So if you need to get a lot to your destination, this is a good way to do it and it's gonna keep them upright so you're not just tossing them into the bed in a jumbled mess where they're gonna be running into one another and potentially getting damaged on your drive. This is gonna hold the bike upright essentially by wedging it over the tailgate. more
