How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Yakima JetStream roof rack on our 2023 Ford Bronco Sport. Adding a roof rack system to your Bronco Sport is gonna help solve the problem of not having a lot of cargo space, especially if you're at full capacity with your passengers. This is gonna allow you to use the negative space on top of your roof and gain additional room for those bigger, bulkier items that you're gonna take on your journey with you. Taking a closer look at the JetStream bars in our system, they're 60 inches long. They're gonna give you about eight inches of overhang, so that can come in handy for additional tie-down points or if you want to use your T-track slot that's on the top, closer to the end. Also, your TimberLine towers are gonna go right into this space that wrap around your bars, pretty snugly, secured by a rubber strap that's gonna torque down to keep it everything nice and secure on top of the roof. more

The roof rack system today is made of the 60-inch Yakima CoreBar and the Yakima TimberLine Towers with the adapter for the CoreBar. The width on this is 2 3/4 inch. Height is right at one inch, so that's gonna work with most of your rooftop accessories. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Yakima JetStream Bars and TimberLine Towers on our 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. As far as the bar itself, so this guy right here is right at three inches wide, and that's gonna work with most rooftop accessories. Real cool feature with this is the fact that you can use the T-track slot on the end cap, I mean in the bar here, and it actually has a rubber gasket built in there. So you don't have to trim anything to size, and it helps reduce the wind noise. Underneath, there is also a strip that you would add in and cut to size to fill in this gap, but with this just being a demonstration, I didn't trim that part for the demo. Going down to the TimberLine Towers, the way they secure everything to the vehicle is using this strap right here that is actually UV-protected to hold up against the elements and sunlight. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima CoreBar and TimberLine towers on our 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. Adding crossbars to the top of your Bronco Sport is a great way to make sure that you get those bigger bulkier items on the road with you. As you know, owning a Bronco Sport, cargo space is kind of limited and this is gonna help you take advantage of that negative space on top of your vehicle. So taking a look with the TimberLine towers on our raised rails, we're about two and a half inches up. One thing to consider with the way that the CoreBar adapter kit mounts to the tower, you lose the space that's directly underneath it for clamp-on accessories 'cause it's just, you know, taken up by the the tower itself. One thing to also consider is you don't have a T track slot with it being a solid bar. more

Having a roof rack also helps you with getting out there and having fun 'cause it can also support kayak carriers, bike carriers, as well as cargo boxes, as your weight capacity on the CoreBar system is at 220 pounds. However, you're definitely gonna want to consult with your manufacturer's instructions to see what the maximum capacity of the roof is. The best benefit of not having a fixed mounting point system and taking advantage of your raised rails is the fact that you can adjust your spread for whatever accessory you're using, like some of the items I listed, or maybe a tent. The bars themselves are 50 inches long, about three inches wide, two and three quarters and an inch tall. more

If you have a 2023 GMC Terrain and you're looking to add a roof rack to the top that's easy to install and can maximize your crossbar spread for certain accessories like kayak carriers, then this Yakima roof rack could be a good option for you. Let's check it out. Now, any roof rack on your Terrain is a great idea if you're looking to expand your cargo space, especially if you don't have a hitch because you can add a box or a basket up here or maybe even some bike racks. And this option for Yakima, I think, is really special because it's going to have a band that wraps around the raised rail on your Terrain and it fits well in this smaller front section where the bar is thicker. Other brands like Rhino-Rack, their clamps don't fit well around this thick part and it limits you to this back portion of the raised rail to attach your bars so you can't spread them out as far. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today I have a Yakima roof rack system with the 50 inch long bars and the TimberLine towers. We'll take a look at how it fits our 2022 Volkswagen Taos. So your Volkswagen Taos has a raised rail meaning there's a rail that goes up but you can also fit things underneath it. Now because of how small it is, this actually doesn't fit perfectly for all roof rack brands. So some roof racks need a special clamp that's smaller in order to securely fit around this rail system. But since the Yakima TimberLine towers have a strap that go around, then you don't have that issue. more
