Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2014 Cadillac SRX- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2014 Cadillac SRX we are going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero roof rack system consisting of part numbers RRVA 118b-2. These are the vortex aero crossbars 46 inches long. These also come in silver, part number RRVA 118s-2.To hold them in place we have the SX series legs for the factory raised side rails. Meaning, this is the style that clamps on both sides and holds them in place on your factory raised side rails.This is a great roof rack system that can carry a wide variety of accessories ranging from bike racks to cargo baskets, to cargo boxes. It has a nice air dynamic shape to it, with this elliptical shape and that's going to help cut down the wind noise and drag while you drive.Removing our end cap here, we do have a plastic lock that its in place and it does come with a tool to loosen it up. You can see that we can utilize T-track accessories with this by removing the strip, placing in your T-track accessories and then cutting the strip to length around it.Also at the end caps here, these plastic locks can be removed and replaced with a regular lock that you can find on etrailer.com to secure both your roof rack to your factory raised side rails but as well to secure your T-track accessories as well since they can't remove them without removing the end cap.The SX series leg, as I said, clamps around both sides of our factory raised side rail, and where it does make contact there's sufficient patting to make sure that there's no scratches or abrasions while you're installing it.How we got our first bar in position, we picked a spot at the front here and just measured back on the same distance, both sides, to make sure that it was even. more

Hey everybody, Cooper here from etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at our Rhino Rack Roof Rack system on our 2022 GMC Terrain. Now this kit is going to come in two pieces, the first one being our Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars, and the second one being our SX Series Legs that are going to attach to our vehicle and hold those crossbars into place. Now if you're gonna wanna carry around some of those bigger items like kayaks, skis, maybe snowboards, your first thing you're going to need is a roof rack like we have here today. Or, if your car's filled with people and you need some additional storage, having a roof-mounted storage box would be a perfect opportunity for something like this. We are weight rated to hold up to 165 pounds on our roof rack, but do just keep in mind that our rails and the roof are going to have their own separate weight ratings, and you always wanna make sure you go by the lowest component, that way you're not overloading any of those down. more

Today on our 2016 Honda Fit, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System. We're going to be using part numbers RRVA118B-2 for the Aluminum 46" Long Black Crossbars and part number RRRLKVA for the 2500 Series Leg Kit, and finally part number DK438 for the Fit Kit specifically for our Honda Fit. This Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System is going to allow you to carry your roof-mounted accessories, such as your bike racks, kayak carriers, ski carriers, cargo boxes and baskets. It has an aerodynamic design that's going to help cut down on wind noise when you're on the road, and it's also going to add a sleek look to your Honda Fit. All four of the 2500 Series legs feature padding, so you don't have to worry about it harming and scratching the roof of your vehicle. The hooks here are also padded, so that when it grips the inside of the top you don't have to worry about it harming it. The crossbars themselves are made out of an aluminum construction, and they're lightweight, so they're going to allow you to maximize your roof's weight capacity, though you'll want to be sure to check your vehicle's owner's manual to see how much it can carry. Today on our 2015 Kia Sorento we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers RRVA118B-2, these are the vortex arrow cross bars, but they also come in silver as part number RRVA118S-2. We also have part number RRSX009, these are the SX series legs for the vortex arrow cross bars, particularly for the factory raised side rails. We already have the front one installed. You can see that our cross bar here has a nice aerodynamic shape to it, and that's going to cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. Combined with the rear cross bar, it has a carrying capacity of 165 pounds. Now, you want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure that the roof can withstand that kind of weight. Let's go ahead and show you how the rear one goes on, and we already have it partially assembled on our table over here. We'll take our leg here, we'll make sure that this end fits into the T slot end of our cross bar. more

Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2012 Mazda 3- Video
Today on our 2012 Mazda 3 we're doing a test test of the Rhino Rack Roof Rack Kit. This is consisting of 3 part numbers. The first is our Vortex Aero cross bars, part number RRVA118B-2. Our 2,500 series Legs for our Vortex Aero cross bars using RRRLKVA and our fit kit for our Mazda 3, part number DK289. Now we already have our front bar on, we've taken out our spacers here at the top and installed these bolts. This is where we're going to attach our cross bars. These are simple to remove, we just use a flat blade screwdriver, pushed it back, it popped right out, and then tighten those down. We do have that front cross bar installed, we've got part of our back bar installed as well. We're going to show you how to put the last kit together and then how to install it onto our vehicle. Everything that you see here is included with our kit. more

The Rhino Rack Roof Rack is excellent for carrying accessories ranging from bike racks to cargo baskets to enclosed cargo boxes, as well as kayak carriers, ski carriers and snowboard carriers. The carrying capacity of the 2 bars is going to be 165 pounds, but always double check with your manual to make sure it can withstand that weight. One of the nice things about this system is the fact that it uses fixed points on your roof so you don't have to worry about crossbar measurement or anything like that. The bars themselves have a nice aerodynamic shape to them, so that's going to cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving. more
